[Discussion] Alignment: Relative or Absolute?

I'm pretty ambivalent toward alignment as a whole. I see it as a campaign specific sort of thing, not even a world issue.

It matters when Good vs. Evil is the point of the campaign, but I don't really see much point to having it be so prominant in a campaign where its the nothe issue.

Class restrictions in particular annoy me because I would very much like to see warrior poets of a cause (bardadin), or combat zenmasters (monkbarians).
