[ic]You make your way to the docking tower with some difficulty, but with no trouble along the way (although Ded gains a lingering feeling that somebody's watching them). The tower is a tall wooden structure on a stone base, topped with a platform. A few large barns and other buildings surround it, with the centralmost one, built into the tower base, has 'Main Office' written in human and elven above the door.[/ic]

[ic=Blackjack]"Well, here we are gentlemen.  Let's go in and give 'em our permit.  Then all we have to do is wait for Watsup." Blackjack enters the main office, looking around for someone who looks like they're in charge.

"Hm, I wonder how much this trip is going to cost me, even with the permit.  Maybe I can get Jeroen to pay for it..."[/ic]

[ic]The room is musty and filled with ledgers. There are three people standing talking - one tall elf with a roguish look about him, complete with about twenty daggers in his belt and harness, one podgy female half-elf with an expensive-looking dress and another elf, this one also male, but unarmed except for a pair of viciously spiked gauntlets. Both the males wear skyship gear.[/ic]

[ic=Blackjack]Inexoribly drawn to the dagger-weilding Elven male, Blackjack says "Hey, you.  D'you Elves pilot one of these flying disasters?  We've got a permit here, and we're trying to get to the Black City."

[ic]"That would be me, halfling." The one with the daggers speaks with a heavily accented voice.

"If you want to get to the Black City, you require lots of money... permit grants 2500 gold off - but black city trip cost 75,000."

"So, you take us to the Great Sky Market, we do this job for you, and then you take us to the Black City.  And it doesn't cost m- us, anything, right?"[/ic]
