I usally choose to play characters that range from care-free to morally ambiguous to almost evil, so i thought that i'd try playing a good guy for once (something that i haven't done since i was a kid. like maybe 10 0r 12 or so)[/ooc]

[ooc]I think that Wastep has more purpose too.  Blackjack is just a shallow character.  It's not like I don't like roleplaying deep characters, it's just the Blackjack isn't one.
