Mass Effect PbP Game Thread

[ic]Archimedes gives the volus a last unpleasant grin, then follows Kai into the "armoury" and picks up one or two of the remaining weapons or grenade belts.[/ic][ooc]Not sure what's still there.  Preferably I'll snatch a Titan sniper rifle, a Striker pistol, and a bandolier of smoke grenades.  I'll now have four pistols, a rifle, and a grenade bandoleer on my person - I think that's not too unrealistic, so long as Archimedes is reasonably creative as to whee he stows the gear.

What is T'Kin's pistol, btw?[/ooc]

T'Kin's weapon is a customized Pinnacle Line Pistol that grants the user +1 to hit and +1 damage when you aim. [/ooc]

[ooc]How many grenades did Lini pick up earlier when the others were in the main room. If they are heading out, Lini will pick up a sniper rifle and sling it over her shoulder and maybe another sidearm.[/ooc]

- 4 Bandoliers, each with 5 Frag and 5 Smoke Grenades
- 4 Striker Pistols (treat as Sporting Blaster Pistols with +2 to hit)
- 4 Judgement Pistols (Treat as Blaster Pistols with +2 to damage)
- 2 Terminator Assault Rifles (treat as Blaster Carbine with +2 to hit)
- 2 Gorgon Assault Rifles (treat as Blaster Rifle with +2 to damage)
- 2 Titan Sniper Rifles (Treat as a Sporting Blaster Rifle with an Enhanced Low-Light Scope and +1 Die of Damage when you aim)

[ooc] Thank you for the summary. Lini will take a Sniper rifle, a Judgment Pistol, which she'll stuff into an empty grenade holder as a holster; another bandolier; and she'll take two frag grenades from another full bandolier to place in empty spots.

This leaves her with her two pistols+the judgment pistol+Titan sniper rifle+2 bandoliers (one with 2 frag/5 smoke; another 5 frag/5 smoke).[/ooc]

After making sure that nothing valuable is left behind, he pokes at his omni-tool's commlink. "I have your statue, and we're about ready to leave. Where do you want it?"[/ic]

Kai isn't too concerned about "hiding" his armaments. He's simply expecting the techies to take care of any cameras or security-- as a suitable application of threats should be enough to chase off anything but well-armed or stupid security. OR more mercenaries, who may simply attack us on sight anyway.[/ooc]

[ic] Lini heads into the hall and looks down toward the elevator shaft. She then queries the systems to ensure that the other elevator is still locked down in the sub-basement.[/ic]

[ooc] Kai took a bandoleer of grenades initially. He used two frags, including the one Lini gave him earlier, so he'd have 4 frags and 5 smokes. He's also taking everything not bolted down, and he will worry about distribution of it later. Like he said, being able to set up our own private weapon caches in the future seems wise to him.[/ooc]

[ic]It takes you several seconds to access the lobby video drones, in that time the Eclipse have done their business. A Volus body lies in the center of the Lobby, his head missing, his innards spewing out of the hole like a child's baking soda volcano. You access a few other drones in the lobby and you see them - 2 Asari charging out a window, a head in hand. You click over to an exterior drone - they jumped out the window and landed in a waiting hover car. The Asari driver floors it, in mere moments the car disappears from view. [/ic]

[ooc]Wonder what set the eclipse off against him. Guess they're not leaving any witnesses, civilian or not.[/ooc]

"Poor bastard." Kai shrugs. Apparently, that is the end of their business. However, the Volus must have wanted the statue for a reason-- it seems most likely that someone else wanted the statue, or it happened to be something valuable in and of itself. Either of which left open possibilities for the scoundrel in his heart.

He glances to the others. "Well, it seems my business is concluded. Whenever you fine gentle-people are ready to go..." He extends one of his arms out, sweeping in a theatrical manner to indicate that should promptly hurry.[/ic]
