I didn't know the Grey Mouse thing, either. I understood the rogue / bard part, though, even if some letters were missing. That or fighter / bard are probably my favorite combos in 3.X. I like being the lore guy and jack of all trades with a bit more direct combat ability. Sort of like Gurney Halleck. Also, rogue / bard gets you mad skill points.

Kindling

Didn't know the Gray Mouser?! *chokes on breakfast*

To me, rog/brd means noisy thief.  Makes me think of Face from the A-Team.  Both classes have a lot of interpretations; that's why I was wondering just what he meant.  I'm still not entirely certain, but I'm getting the feeling Face isn't far off.

The Face archetype is a good example of what I'm aiming for. Looking for abilities to entertain and swindle, fight dirty, win knife fights, and inspire allies.  I, too, spat out my hummus when the Grey Mouser was unknown, Kindling. Luckily that adorable picture of a grey mouse made it all better. Awww.

:)

Okay, so typical roguish backstabbing type with a heavy helping of misplaced trustworth.  Got it!

My band is now leaning toward a regular practice on Thursdays, making that day less than ideal but arrangements can be made if that works best for everyone else.

Tangential

I'm so out of the loop. is it a ninja band?

This one is primarily composed of heavy metal and electronic elements. Nothing I'm a part of can ever be truly free of punk rock and hip-hop influence, though, and we plan to fully embrace that and mix up styles as much as possible. Basically, we'll have a normal sound and then there will be a straight rap song thrown in every once in a while and a few oldschool style hardcore songs...that sort of thing. We're also having a full fictional backstory where we're more or less time travelers from the Fallout universe...we'll be wearing vault suits with the number 92 on them. If you're interested, there is a Facebook page for Behavior Modification Therapy but it's not really a thing yet. We've only got most of one song, a whole lot of song fragments, and even more ideas right now.

I suppose I should clarify what I said above, anyway. The other guy preferred Thursday but it didn't NEED to be that day that we practice. Also, if the game starts late enough, we just do our thing before it. For example, SIG starts at 7:45 PM my time. If our practices were to be on Monday, we would probably do our thing between 5 and 7, which would leave me enough time to get showered and whatever so I could still game almost right up until I had to leave for work (assuming I work that night).

EDIT : Oh yeah, my character concept wasn't supposed to be any kind of secret, either. I made a dwarf that blows stuff up.

Humabout

Sounds cool, Ninja.  Any chance we'll get to hear your band at any point?

Also, does this mean Wednesday evening sounds good to everyone?

Also, party includes a paladin, dwarvish bomb-nut, and a rogue, so far.  I nee dto check with Llum, but I think he's still interested and can make wednesdays.

Assuming we ever get things really done, absolutely.

Wednesday works for me.

I might take another look at my character and see if there is any way I can get him more carrying capacity and heavier armor...I wouldn't count on it, though.

Llum

I don't think I can make this Wednesday. I have to go out of town for two days for family stuff, so when I get back I have a ton of school stuff to do. Feel free to start without me :D

Tangential

What time Wednesday? It's looking like I may be engaged for some of that evening.

Just got bad news for this Wednesday (go figure...it's the one day of my schedule that is normally fixed).  I have ot work later and may not be able to get online for a game.  The following week should be a go, however.  Let's shoot for that.  What's the earliest everyone can assemble?

In Central time; I can do as early as 6PM, if I need to. 7PM or after works better for me but I can work with it for the sake of others. The earlier it is, the earlier I will have to get up and the more tired I am likely to be. Also, whenever I work on Wednesday night, I will have to leave the game by no later than 930PM.
