In Central time; I can do as early as 6PM, if I need to. 7PM or after works better for me but I can work with it for the sake of others. The earlier it is, the earlier I will have to get up and the more tired I am likely to be. Also, whenever I work on Wednesday night, I will have to leave the game by no later than 930PM.

Crud. Unless the wizardry of time-zones makes this work, a conflict may exist. I can only do Wed after 11 pm DMST and on some occasions making that time would be eschewing post-LARP dinners. I will now out if W is best for our fearless GM and Ninja.

Ninja D!

Where is that? I can't find it on the list on the time zone converter site I normally use.

sparkletwist

It's probably a weird way of writing MDT.

Ninja D!

Oh. I know there wouldn't be that big of a time zone difference between those two. That would be a really late game for normal people. Of course, we're not a normal bunch so we'll see what works for the most people. Settling on a time always seems to eliminate a potential player or two, unfortunately.

'Tis the nature of the beast.

Your face is weird sparkletwist. :p

Cooties!  Oh no!  Make a Fort Save, quick!  Yeah, this timing thing is getting hairier and hairier... We may need to deliberate more on it.  :s

Deliberation results? Should I just learn IRL?

Sorry.  I've been distracted a lot lately.  Been flipflopping on ideas and stuff.  Give me a few days and I'll post a day, ok?

Sunuva!!!!!  I just lost my entire post.  This sucks!  Tiem for a shorter version:

Been wobbling on ideas.  Tell me if you'd prefer me posting some premades that fit a dungeon-crawl instead of custom-making each one for the player.  If you prefer the latter, I need to catch Jaerc in IRC at some point; I have concerns about his mouse.

As far as getting a game going and people not making it and so on, time permitting, I'm totally good to run multiple intro games on different days.  I don't plan on doing anything particularly deep up front, but if they turn into an ongoing game, I'll actually give them some thought.

My plan for this tutorial is to use a ruleset similar in feel to D&D; it won't be the same, but it won't be brutally realistic, either (we can do a gritty dungeon crawl another time).  We will begin with typical dungeon crawling activities - combat, difficult movement, traps, etc.,- and work our way into social stuff, if we really want to.  Hope this works for everyone.

So for starters, do you all prefer premades to pick from or want to continue working with customized PCs?

Let's sidestep complexity for now. I'll take a beefy pre-made please, and save my Mickey for another day.

Ok, so I guess this is how it will work.  Anyone who wants to join, choose one profession and one race from below.

Everyone has gathered at Albrec after following a star that fell from the heavens.  Prophecies surrounding such events abound and are never good.  Upon meeting at the local tavern, you decided your ends would best be served by joining forces, and together you will investigate the meaning of the fallen star.

I will post the date and time of our first session at some point this week.  I'll be out of town the latter part of the week and return Sunday at some point, so initial speculation is for the game to begin next week.

I should be good to play unless I get stuck doing a class project at school (shouldn`t be an issue, but one never knows). I`d like to play a Dwarf Monster hunter I think.
