Wow, massive additions. Definitely ups the ante to get a charter posted.

Couple small questions: Bordellaire? I'm not familiar with this term; how does it compare to a bordello?
Bloatfly? Do you mean gorefly, or is the former some new kind of species you're proposing?

I just added a bunch of character Flavor Texts. I think I might add two more to give enough options. Stats will be up later for the new Hunter options.

1. I added Attributes. You can take "unremarkable" and there is no effect. Originally Attributes were only going to be for the Hireable characters, but I thought that it might add some interesting options for players to choose an Attribute.

2. Races have some special tidbits under them now. (Mostly codifying the special attacks they have, but adding 2 extra points for character creation for certain races).

3. Bordellaire- Lair of the Bordello, it sounded Cadaverous-Earthesque and threatening. Also, Bordello seems to imply females, I wanted a word without those connotations since either gender could be in the Bordellaire. I suppose I could have used "Stews"... but that seems too nasty and archaic.

4. Bloatflies==Goreflies. Thank you for the correction. I've been playing too much Fallout and conflated them.

5. Added 3 more Bounties and an explanation of what the Danger scale means.

LD

1. Finished the Location, Location, Location section.

2. Added a couple more rooms.

3. Statted up all the available Bounty Hunters for hire, from the Hagmyn Lord/Lady of the Flies...or Lady/Lord of the Flies:

[ooc]The Lord of the Flies' relatives have died, his friends have died. She killed them. The Lady of the Flies changes gender as do all of her race. But when she changes gender, her magic fires. He goes inert for 3 Rounds and then wakes to see what chaos has been wreaked. This happened again and again in an orgy of flame after He denied the Goddess of the Sea her due. He changed to her and awoke to sounds of screams, feared the conversion was wrong, then changed again, then again, then again in a horrible spiral of confusion. Now she shrieks in pain, but she can control her change. She fled to Macellaira after her crime and she is likely being hunted herself...which is why no other stable has hired her yet...but as far as you know there isn't a price on her head...[/ooc]

To the scavenger human Odd Amy,

[ooc]Odd Amy gathered pieces of dead plants when she was five, placing them around her bed, then weaving them into her sheets, then weaving them into her clothes. Then, she discovered dead insects and bedecked herself with them similarly. Later, she found pleasure only in splattering herself with viscerea of dead animals. Now that she's grown, she collects both trophies from the dead and she collects the dead themselves. She has a collection of Ghul lovers of both genders (add 300 cost to room for an oversized bed and reduce Defense by 1 due to the large amount of "guests" that she attracts).[/ooc]

The addled Lillix GHOLAM,

[ooc]I WAS DEAD. BUT NOW I AM ALIVE.
GHOLAM THE WITCH IS NOT HUMAN, YOU SAY? I SAY MORE THAN HUMAN.
WHAT OTHER HUMAN HAS MORE THAN TWO LEGS? WHAT OTHER HUMAN HAS FANGS? I HAVE TRANSCENDED HUMANITY!

Gholam the witch is actually a Lillix. Or a Human that looks like a Lillix. Gholam the Witch is what happens when an adventuring party of idiots decides that there is a hoard of treasure hidden within the Suppuration... and walks back alive. Gholam has a human torso and essentially looks like a traditional Centaur; except one with a Lillix body and with a number of arms. Gholam has little memories of her, or is it he-the Witch seems to think she's a man, past. What Gholam does know is that Gholam needs an income. Starving on the streets does not suit Gholam, and Gholam has a vague half-remembered recollection of the Guild of Bounty Hunters, so, half-starved, she sought them out in Macellaria. They directed her toward your Chapterhouse as one that might be hiring.[/ooc]

and others.

Your link reminded me of this. Rereading it all, is there any interest in running a game still? If so, how many players would you want?

Thanks for the interest!

I'd like 3 players so that people could feel the the competition.

But 2 players would probably be fine :)

I'd likely not be able to start it until later in march, but I might get some downtime at work and be able to start it sooner :)

Rose-of-Vellum

Well, if another interested player or two chime in, I'll draft up a charterhouse.

Rhamnousia

I know I very quickly flaked out on the last Cadaverous Earth forum game I was part of before disappearing for months, but the pace of the game looks like it'd be a much better fit with my schedule and the style really satisfies my craving for playing managerial roles.

Rose-of-Vellum

Ms. Saturnine is always there waiting for you, and the game has slowed down substantially for the two current players (Steerpike & False Epiphany).

That said, I'd be happy to play with you on either or both games, Superbright.

LD

Thank you for the interest! I will review the rules over the next few weekends to reacquaint myself with the nuances and plan for something starting in mid to late March.

LD

I made some updates.
The Hunter Rooms are still in Flux.

Please feel free to create your characters now--the only thing in flux that matters much for character creation at the moment is the hunter rooms/ rules for the charterhouse, which I am still cogitating on.

Todos:
-Write out Potions/Drugs/Shop rules.
-Write out training rules.
-Fix Hunter Room Rules; add rooms; confirm balance.

LD

The hunter rooms are still not finalized but all the other todos are completed and I have now reviewed all the races, gear, etc., so anything is fine to make except the Stable Master and the Charterhouse itself.

If I had one comment, it's that I'm confused about how the races are balanced against one another. It seems like the races that give bonus statistics are the obvious best choice, the ghuls and mantids are mechanically identical, and the lilix just look like a colossal money-pit.

LD

Thank you for the questions.

A Hunter may not have starting statistics higher than 5, so the 2 extra core statistic points are not as overpowering as would be presumed.

Lillix may be a moneypit to some degree, but they get to naturally attack with all their attacks each round, so they only need to focus on strength. I would see them as operating best mid-game. The question raised would be, can you give them weapons in each of their many hands, so they would have multiple weapon attacks instead of just natural attacks. My current thought is to only allow 2 weapon-based attacks in addition to the natural ones.
