Hello,

I am new to both the CBG and roleplaying in general, but I have a fictional world that I would like to share and explore with others. I kind of don't know where to start, so that's why I'm posting this here. I have some experience world building but my latest project is considerably more ambitious than anything else I've tried, and I have very little roleplaying experience. I would really appreciate it if some more experienced creators could point me in the right direction. :)

Welcome. The first thing you should probably do is tell us a little about yourself in this thread. After that, hop into either the Homebrews or Campaign Elements and Design subforums and start putting down what you've got. Homebrews is ideal if you're looking to post a thread covering a setting as a whole, while Campaign Elements and Design is better for Q&A/discussion/debate on particular aspects of your approach and ideas.

Cheers!

Welcome!

If you're not sure where to start, just... start! Find a thread that interests you and post. Don't be shy; we won't bite, much. You don't necessarily have to lead off with a big long post about your own creation, indeed, sometimes that isn't the best way because it's a bit out of the blue.

Welcome! Also, listen to the cosmo-equine and shimmering-distortion. They speak wisdom.

I second this. You don't have to have everything figured out - just post. But also be sure to share the love; posting only about your own stuff warrants the condemnation of the all-seeing sparkletwist.
