Most likely all of the above. Canadian wildlife already played a big role in the mythology of previous iterations, and I have no intentions of getting rid of it.

Working on some new additions - trying to jump more-or-less directly into an adventure set up. You can see the flavor blurb for "The Haunting of the Pinewatch" in the fourth post.

Boom. Minor update, change of direction. I wrote about it in an OOC blurb in the main post, but I've been struggling to stay interested in this setting for what I believe to be two major reasons:

1) Trying to do too much;

2) Not having enough conflict,
2a) and/or making Gilbany the nation equivalent of a Mary-Sue.

I'm working on correcting both of these. As I go, the biggest change will be a more significant focus on Gilbany - heavily inspired by the Roman Empire in its later periods - and showing the wicked bits of the empire that outwardly claims to be some shining beacon. This also is resulting in changes to its relationship with its neighbors Kangdemar, Warskaria, and Aath (although other neighbors will stay mostly the same as either neutral or hostile entities), which haven't been updated yet - so please ignore the conflicting details in some descriptions of kingdoms. For now I've written a new intro, updated the themes list, and moved a bit of content around. I hope to add more soon.
