If you tell someone their world needs work and then layout with scientific exactness the geological errors and cultural impossibilities where they messed up.

If the above makes people wonder if you are actually a scientist/science teacher.

I think that would just be annoying. :P

LordVreeg

...you feel strangely comforted when you see certain names online becasue you talk to them more than you do some people in your 'real' life (Nomadic, this means you...).

...you can be thoughoughly wiped out after a 16 hour day including flying from coast-to-coast, but still feel the compunction to check the CBG site.  And if someone has be4en posting on your threads, you forget all notions of exhaustion and reply.  (and in my case, clean up the vinesque idiosyncrasies).

If you have ever done something like this:

SDragon

... You write a long paragraph on how a 10x10ft. monster in a 20x20ft. room with a 5ft. wide door makes absolutely no sense at all, and how it would shatter your suspension of disbelief into a million pieces if it was ever dared used, then turn around and comment on how absolutely friggin' cool cannibalistic vegetarian art-cultists are.

Oh, how we danced away all of the lights
We've always been out of our minds

Eh, I'm not a CBGer, I guess :(. 'Cause this sounds only vaguely familiar.

a lot of the chat regulars listen to my long-winded rants about my personal life... the "make up a baby" thing is one of them. :P

Also, I'd like to point out that I completely forgot that I'm the one who made this silly thread to begin with. I used to be a much better poster, huh?

No way, man.  I know I'm a CBGer because of the lack of flame and fury over a friggin game.  Holy Moses, some of those board-folk are nuts.
