[ic=@Kevkas and Ankh]The Kobolds carrying the bundles and many of those around them have now moved off into the trees, while the ones who are left - about 8 or 9 - begin to approach you, weapons drawn.[/ic]
 [ic=@Dain and Almax]Those others with you don't say much, but look around at each other for support. Eventually DuKaine speaks up. "O course they did. They done it before and who else around here woulda?"
At this the shamans yells, "You accuse us because of nothing. Not us do it before. You insult our tribe and our chief." He the says something to the chief and other lizards.

[ic]Kevkas scatters some caltrops out in front of him and yells to the kobolds, "Well met, kobolds! May i ask for you to hold your weapons so we may make peace and avoid a conflict? We have no wish to harm you, or  take anything you might have claimed. We only wish to pass through. We are hunting the lizard folk." (that was in goblinese) [/ic]

[ic=Almax]I am sure that they are only scared and worried. Imagine if your people started to disappear without any clues as to what happened. They picked the first scenerio that put their mind at ease. Almax speaks to the lizard man. I am also sure that now that they have spoken to you they realize you are a proud and respectable tribe. Almax glances toward the part of the mob he was assigned.[/ic]

[ic=@Almax and Dain]Many of the group are turning to leave and muttering about "waste of my time" and similar things. Moran says, "We're just going to accept that and leave? what if they're lying?". Kolchak and Dukaine turn to leave as well, but Dukaine yells "Fine, but you best stay away from the damn city" as a parting shot.
As soon as most of the other have passed him, Moran yells out "You killed my sister!" and dashes forwards as he reaches into his pouch.[/ic]
 [ooc]Daina and Almax, you are the only two in his way. If you beat his initiative roll, you can try to stop him if you wish.

[ic=Almax]At the outburst of Moran, Almax's hand grabs the hilt of his rapier and draws it from its resting place. The point aimed directly at the charging man. With the sword out Almax unleashes his anger as well. Stop this at once! I have wasted time on this goose chase! You have wasted time! You want to start a war with people, when you have no evidence. You just blame some one and act foolishly. That will not get your people back. Show me proof that the lizard folk did anything or GO HOME![/ic]

[ic=@kevkas and ankh]One kobold stops and motions to his compainions, who halt but don't put up trheir weapons. He then speaks to you in very halting draconic, "You talk dragon talk? Stay way from usn's place. You leave out now."[/ic]

 [ic=@Dain and Almax]Moran manages to stop himself in time to not be run through, and seems shocked. From behind you the chief bellows and the shaman say, "He says for you to begone from this place. If you stay then we will have trouble with you. Do not come back to the marsh."
Moran glares at you for a moment, then turns and stalks off into the jungle to join the others.[/ic]

[ic=Almax]When the group finally starts leaving, Almax turns back to the lizard folk. I will investigate the disappearances of these people, and if my search leads me back here I will not be so polite on our next meeting. Almax turns and leaves as well, sheathing his sword.[/ic]

[ic] He turns to Kevkas. "They say to leave them now. What do you say?" He waits Kevkas' word.[/ic]

[ooc]There are 8 kobolds in the clearing. 7 with their spears and the one who is talking to you who has a shield strapped to one are but appears to be otherwise unarmed.[/ooc]
