My dad has a CD recorder.  I like to make mix CDs around lyrical themes.  The latest one is monkey and ape-related songs.

It's done now, but I may redo it sometime if I get better ideas.  Is there anything that I missed?  Is there anything so weird you must have an explanation?

I'm starting a new mix tape.  This one draws its central theme from the major arcana of the tarot deck.  Sometimes it's based on the meaning of the card and sometimes it's just based on the name of the card.


So far I've decided on:
0 The Fool:  "What's My Age Again"- Blink 182
1 The Magician:  "The Wizard"- Black Sabbath
2 The High Priestess:  "Life Uncommon"- Jewel
3 The Empress:  "Glittering Girl"- The Who
4 The Emperor:  "Princes of the Universe"- Queen
5 The Hierophant:  "Maggie's Farm"- Bob Dylan
6 The Lovers: "I Believe In a Thing Called Love"- The Darkness
7 The Chariot:  "Gimme The Prize (Kurgan's Theme)"- Queen
8 Strength:  "Holding Out For a Hero"- I don't know the artist, whoever is on the Shrek 2 sdoundtrack doing this song.
9 The Hermit:  "Burnout"- Green Day
10 Wheel of Fortune:  "I Lost on Jeopardy"- Weird Al Yankovic

I don't really know Nickelback or have any of their albums, but thanks for the suggestion.

I was kind of thinking "Bad Moon Rising", I just had one or two other ideas at the same time and was trying to decide on the best one.

For the tower take the live U2 version of All Along the Watchtower from Rattle and Hum. Its a very good version.
