More Illuminati-like than I had at first expected, but still quite cool. Rather than dark and gritty, perhaps you'd call it bleak and sinister.

Nah, dark and gritty AND bleak and sinister.  It's kinda like post-apocalyptic, except the apocalypse manifests as an overt, steady decay over the centuries, rather than a sudden and cataclysmic occurrence.  Lots of blood, lots of carnage, that eerie childish laughter no good horror flick can do without, and more than its fair share of unwarranted, ironic humour.

And fetuses.  Apparently horror needs fetuses...

EDIT: You'll notice the contrast between Baennet Zzar and Das Dramurr very quickly.  Whereas the former is (arguably) high fantasy, and approached in a  straight-faced manner, the latter will be a more magic-light steampunk(ish) horror romp that is unpleasant on so many levels.

(If you can find it, the Creepy Events thread on the Wizards boards is a good hint)

When it is posted, if anyone has a problem with the tone (and/or content) of Das Dramurr, bite my shiny metal ass.

Samkha have been added to the races, and I am in the process of retconning psionics into the thread.

EDIT:
Za'anauril is now up in the Baennet Zzar post!

Baennet Zzar is nearly finished.  All that's left is for me to fill in the empty entries for Culture, and it'll be done.  Enjoy.

By the way, comments are still welcome.  I don't bite.

(Well... I do, but my canines aren't that sharp)

Aussies are notorious biters...at least the one I met was...and she also had some sharp finger nails too...I didn't mind so much.

I'm loving the time lines. I really want to do some for Sulos, for so much of the history of my setting is just lost or unknown; precise dates are difficult to do.

I'm thinking of adding one to Rhoenheim, since the Sacred Priests are archeologists and archivists, but I'm not sure if it's really worth the effort. You're making me consider it though.

You naughty, naughty boy!

EDIT:
I recommend you do.  It helps create a more coherent picture in your mind when you've developed the history in a clear and definitive sequence.

I think Baennet Zzar needs more sidebars.  I like sidebars...

But I can do that later.  For now: off to Dramurr!

The format is well done, and the additions are very nice. There's much more information that could be used in an actual campaign, without losing your thematic flavor. I can't even imagine how good this setting will be once you're through with it...of course it may be months or even years before that time actually comes...

*sigh* I'll just have to wait for more

Something to look forward to...

When it's all done (or almost done), I'll stick it in the Homebrew section.
