So, The Combination

This is the basic idea behind this new world o' mine.

"The universe was once divided into four great parts: the Primal Realm of Ankhabad, the Spirit Realm of Shan'ok, the Demon Realm of Ammaur and the mysterious, shadowy Faerie Realm of Tuatha. The realms were split apart, and untouching, separate in form and nature. The creatures that grew there were bizarre and beautiful, horrific and awe-inspiring. And then a strange power came into the world, known to this day as the Morrigan, and her coming as three and one split the worlds down the middle. Where they merged, a new land was formed, and here the Morrigan sang into being the first men. Her songs split into three, one naming all the objects of the world, one controlling the coming of the night over the land and the shadows in the daytime, and one bringing all of the creatures of the other realms, who were not hers and yet were hers, under her control. It is through these three paths that today's Singers perform great acts of power. And then the Morrigan became one with the song, and left her children to care for themselves.

The peoples grew into many different peoples - the Eltarim of the south, the Jannin of the East and North, and the numerous groups of the Kelti and Bunadh, the Lidh and Fólk, the Obejudit and the great Hunnin Duchy which spans the borders between many different cultures. And as the world grew, so did the peoples' skill in magic... but so, too, weakened the borders between realms. Although it requires strength and power, creatures from the other realms can enter the world relatively easily..."

This is the basic map of Dannyn, the main continent of the world.

This is a racial map of Dannyn. It shows the various Ethnic groups.

The Black dotted line stands for the Jannin, the hardy eastern folk.

The Blue shows the extent of the Hunnin peoples' roaming grounds.

The Red shows the Celtic ethnic group.

The Yellow shows what is known as the Eltarim-Obejudit group, considered two or one depending which scholar you ask. Evidence of connection is held in basically mutually-understandable languages and similar cultures.

The Green shows the extent of the Bunadh and Lidh, also known as the 'Coastal Celtir' or Celtir of the Coasts. Both they and the Celtir are closely intertwined.

The purple shows the Fólk ethnic group, the smallest but most legendary of all. Although they only sparsely populate the Fólkands, their ancestral home, and that mostly along the coast, they are famed in their seamanship and their mastery over wind and wave.

It's nice to see my ideas appreciated.
I'm a muck-levelist, I like to see things from the bottom.

"No matter where you go, you will find stupid people."
