Wow, it's been a long time since this thread has seen the light of day.

Attachments to PM's of the file type .rtf are not allowed.  This isn't so much the problem as the fact that when an attempt to attach a file is denied, the PM is sent regardless, making users who mention attachments look foolish.

Is there a way that this can be made more user-friendly?  Even if it is to include a list of unsupported file-types in the PM page?

I just had an issue when trying to edit my thread Skills and Magic - The beginning of a system. When I tried to edit my first post and hit the preview button I saw the preview, but then got the message "Error You are not authorized to post to this forum." instead of seeing the edit box. This only happens when editing the first post, and I can still make the edit as long as I don't preview it.

I just tried it on another of my threads and noticed the same thing.

Yeah, sorry Pellanor, that's just one of those stupid e107 bugs that we were never able to fix (because e107 is a child's toy with defective batteries, apparently), you can usually just back up and hit it again and it'll work fine.

You can look at that preview and then press BACK and everything that you changed will still be there.  Then you can edit more or post as you see fit.  It is an error that just adds a short step to the process, which is why I never bothered to report it.
