It all depends on when the generation started. If it started in 1990, then no Lol Internets would not be the most profound statement. However, if the generation started anywhere from 2000 onwards, I could agree with you.

That is of course assuming Internet Generations are the same as normal generations... God, I can still remember when everyone (EVERYONE) had a Geocities page... Those were the dark ages of the internet, glad to see we've evolved to the point where we have substituted the marathon of .gif's and broken links for an unending over abundance of imprecise grammar and acronyms.
