Slow down

Has there been any further word on slow down of the site? I know it was posted in the Tavern that someone got hacked and that was possibly causing the slow down. Maybe I am the only one still experience it.

I'm inclined to believe it's a problem on Dreamhost's (the company that hosts our server) end, as they've been having a slew of difficulties since their server was hacked recently. The slowdowns are frustrating to everyone, especially us admins (we hate to see community activity go down at all, and this has really crippled it), but there's unfortunately very little we can do until we switch servers.
