Once the game starts, you can easily ask pretty much anyone who the "Suspects Unknown" killed, if you so desire.

So, by 4th level I can have 16HD of undead? (Rot Necromancers count their class level as caster level for their spells that they gain, and they also get animate undead by 3rd level

From what I've seen thus far, Voran is going to attract a lot of unwanted attention, to say the least.  Again, be prepared for the consequences.

Bah. I just leave my minions at the base for now, quaff one of my potions of undetectable alignment, and command my gloves' light to activate. No one will think I'm evil then. Also, if I multiclass into wizard, I can just transform my undead minions to look like, i dunno, a pig?
