Hello!

New member here, though people who hang out on some other gaming forums (such as ENWorld or RPGNet) might remember me.

The main reason why I have joined this forum is because I've got a pet worldbuilding project of my own (with its own thread  over here), and I'd like to discuss some specific aspects of the setting and get some feedback now and then.

Quote from: SelahHey all, dropping by to see what a fellow Dicefreak was doing with this place in his sig.

Nice looking place you have here. :)

I knew I'd lure one or two over here eventually.

Welcome Selah.

Welcome jack (are you jack77 from the WotC and the old shadowfell boards?) and other recently joining new people. Don't let some of the massive posters intimidate you, just post in your own good time, as much as you want. Just be sure to let us know you're still here every once in a while! Welcome all!

"Then shall the last battle be gathered on the fields of Valinor. In that day Tulkas shall strive with Melko, and on his right shall stand Fionwe and on his left Turin Turambar, son of Hurin, Conqueror of Fate; and it shall be the black sword of Turin that deals unto Melko his death and final end; and so shall the Children of Hurin and all men be avenged." - J.R.R. Tolkien, The Shaping of Middle-Earth

Elrabin

Hey, I'm new here, about to go post my campaign outline on the homebrew forum. My world is called Idyllica, and the "focus" nation is called Althenia.

Been world building for a long time, but in the end I always end up scrapping everything, taking the aspects I like and reimagining it all. At this moment, I'm just after the scrapping aspect, a few days into the reimagining it all part.

Welcome to the CBG!

I myself have ended up using the same process with my main campaign world.  Often, only by making "mistakes" in anything (especially a creative project like campaign design) can you determine what is really best.
