I am starting school in a while (14 January 2008) at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.

I am currently a sophomore (second-year) undergraduate, however, my credit standing is closer to a junior.

I am a Japanese major, and have not yet made a decision between minoring in Political Science or Linguistics.

I started at ITT Tech near my area a little over 3 years ago.

I'm in my senior year finishing up for graduation in the summer of 08.

My major is Game Design. I also have an associates degree in Multi Media, mainly 3D modeling and animating.

My classes mostly resolve around Game Design, such as level design, game engines, script writing (my favorite area) etc. I do have a smattering of Gen Ed crap here and there (I have economic this coming term, yay...)

1. My answer's a bit complicated:
When I get my student loans paid off or paid down and have decided what I want to do with my life and have decided on a school to enroll in and reapplied for financial aid, so maybe a year or two down the line.

2. Freshman flunkout.  I may have passed a course or two on my first try, but which ones not even I know anymore.

3.  My major the first time around was English with an emphasis on Language and Literature.    It was sort of interesting, but I don't think I'm likely to go back to it.  Grand Valley State University introduced a new Writing major, the year after I flunked out.  If I can ever go back there as a student, I might go for Writing.

4.  None.  I flunked out six years ago.  In the meantime being a bus boy at an Italian restaurant is fun, and being a trained chimpanzee at a Taco Bell brings in some money.  I do sound a little more learned than the title of college flunkout might otherwise indicate, mainly because I read a lot and every now and again it's in a respectable sbuject area, like history or science.

Well, apparently I'm signed up for classes now at Nova, the community college in Northern Virginia. My dirty secret that I tend to keep to myself is that I'm a high school dropout, and I never seriously thought I'd ever get around to receiving a college education since structured schooling kills my soul. However, I was convinced that I should at least get my high school degree, so I'm signed up for a few classes that will fulfill my high school requirements and I'm *gasp* actually looking forward to my English classes. If they turn out to be boring though, I'm going to shoot myself.

1) I started school on August 27th.
2) I'm a sophomore at Indiana University.
3) I am an English Major (who is not going to be a teacher)
4) I'm taking L295, American Film Culture; F250, French Language and Culture; P101, Introductory Psychology I; H211, Ideas and Experience I (Honors).

My favorite class has been my French one, but only because of a couple of the students in it with me. Really, the best class I'm taking would be the English class, American Film Culture.  My teacher is British, brilliant, and hilarious.  Hopefully the final isn't going to be too tough though...

A Companion to the History of Economic Thought Biddle, Davis & Samuels.
This is a great book for taking your econ class and translating that class into game design framework.  This made me change almost all my guild-relationships (due to how they were affiliated) and forced my eventual decision to go to the 'electrum standard' in my world.

Next year I'll have even less time for the CBG, as I'll be taking 4-5 AP classes. Hard ones at that (AP Calculus BC, AP Physics BC, AP English, AP US History, and possibly AP Computer Science for those of you that are interested.)
