I note that Tavern Builder only has, like 25 votes or so. What keeps their rating way up there is the fact that they have like 10000 click throughs.

In fact, this is true of a lot of the highest ranked sites - not that many actual votes, necessarily, but a huge number of clicks.

Actually, I found out first-hand that it can. Apparently, if your IP goes to the CBG (I assume just the main page) over 100 times in a certain amount of time, it gets banned. Then you can't vote until Ishy knows you're banned, finds your IP, and unblocks it.

So, outgoing links are very, very important, but try not to overdo it. Otherwise, you won't be able to vote.

By the way, I forgot to mention that the Tavernmakers are all communists. We, on the other hand, strongly believe in an economy sustained by the competition for the rewards of hard work :)

If ten people voted in the next two hours, and-- on average-- clicked the outgoing link once every 40 seconds, we could rise another rank in those two hours. Naturally, I wouldn't expect that much from just ten people, but my point is we should be up another rank or two by tomorrow!

So, interesting trendf.  Both ourselves and the tavernmaker lost a spot..  Us to #18, them to #10.  Hard to fathom all the Star Wars Combiner kids crsuning the 2 of us.  But right now, small goals.  We need to close in on the kitten-eating tavern maker.  We need to hold our ground and watch them fall, if nothing else.
