Sounds exciting.  Granted, since you haven't put up any character background for public consumption, I can't tell what this could be . . . but it sounds fun!

True, I haven't.  The idea I have for my character seems similar, in ways, to yours only less showy.  A bit of arrogance only less on the mental and more on the physical...if that makes sense.

Numinous

I have a question.  Does anyone have an issue with playing in Eberron?  There is an adaptation to the adventure that makes the setting change possible, and I'm really a fan of that world.  It also works well with some of your backstories.

Thoughts?

@ Neubert:  I was planning on giving you all reasons to head too Winterhaven, where the adventure starts.  A meet-up there will precipitate a party joining forces, I presume.

I guess that's alright, although I know very little about Eberron.  I don't know if that matters.

I know nothing of Eberron and what I've heard has sounded just silly.  It's not my game, though.  I say you run it how you feel and we enjoy it for what it is.

Neubert

I'm fine with wherever you want to put it. :)

Rose Of Montague - Alright, I think I will leave my character with the dwarves then.
If what I just wrote didn't make sense, just ask. Though it probably doesn't make any sense to me either. :P
Alright then, if there are no objections, welcome to Eberron.

Here is a link to an article on the nations of Eberron, although I have recommendations for each of you on where your characters may best fit.  I'll PM them to you all.
Ignore what I said earlier.  Since so many of us are unfamiliar with the setting, it would be a bit pointless to force it on you, especially since it is difficult for me to share my books with you.

Instead, we'll play classic D&D and see where it takes us.  If, heaven forbid, we make it through this adventure, is anyone up for some restatted "Keep on the Borderlands"?  Because, you know, I have a copy.  From the 70's.  Because I'm just that awesome.  Oh, and expect owlbears, because nothing says D&D like owlbears.

I put up my stats, in a nice little table.

I'd prefer standard D&D. I'm not unfamiliar with Eberron, but I'm not ... overly familiar. That and I don't care for the setting much.

Wherever you want it, DM.  That's what I think.

PS: I also think it would be great if this went beyond one adventure.

PPS: Also, background up in a minute.  DM ONLY at least.  Stuff for other players before long.

PPPS: Nice table Kapn.

Seraph

Yeah, I'm all for taking this well past one adventure.  As long as we can make it last, I'm willing to go.

Sorry I don't have a character up yet, I found out a couple days ago that a guy I went to college with died. I haven't felt like posting or working on a D&D character, I'll try to put something together tomorrow.

That sucks, man.  Hopefully one of the positive religions is right and he's happy now.

Take your time oh Watery King, I know how you feel.

Poseidon, just wanted to know why your rogue has such high strength. You're focusing on Artful Dodger, right? I don't mean to min/max, but your points might be better spent elsewhere.

But who am I to talk, my paladin has an 11 Str (otherwise he'd be in a heavy load, hah).
