I'm not logging in through a server at work when I'm there (we don't have one beyond the physical line to the office system,) - rather via the wi-fi next door (the router is on the other side of the wall behind my desk. . .) The trouble is all they really provide is a router - no one there seems to understand anything regarding it so it frequently crashes. (I tend to be cautious about my throughput volume these days when it's acting unstable, although the signal's strong enough to run Second Life when I was working graves and the only one using the bandwidth. . .)

I probably wouldn't be able to attend something live until next wednesday or thursday at the earliest.  I am on vacation at my brother's and I get internet on his computer, but not IRC (I'd still have to download it on my laptop anyway).  I'm using his, because 1/2 of the time I can't get Wi-Fi in range on my laptop, 3/4 of the time I have it in range I can't connect, and 1/2 the time I can connect I still don't get internet.  And that small percentage of the time i can get internet, it's really tenuous and is prone to cutting out without warning.

Ninja, it seems that just one news post is probably going to be the best way to do it, since most have said that they would have problems making it to a scheduled chat event.

@LC - Not objective enough - I mean, I know that Burvohl is the awesomest of awesomesauce, but I would definitely put the Skrimgulun Kortre higher on the list. ;)
