We've been using this one for a while, and reinstituted it for our 4E game.

Tasty Treats!
Whenever you bring either food or drink that the group can share during the session, you refresh 2 Action Points after an extended rest instead of 1.

Note that Tasty Treats! are not cumulative per food item, and cannot be carried over session-to-session. If two people have brought the same Tasty Treats! to the session, best 2 out of 3 stone-sword-veil will commence.

Epic Win!

Not quite sure how this would work for my group though, since four of us are roommates and our snack supply generally gets pilfered anyways.
One of these days I'll actually get organized enough to post some details on my setting / system.

Pair o' Dice Lost

That's horribly broken!  Everyone knows an extra action point requires at least 3 out of 5 victories. ;)

More seriously, I have something like this in my 3e games and am thinking of doing something for 4e.  However, I was thinking of making it a free healing surge instead of an action point; HP represents morale, after all, and what's better for morale than tasty treats?
Call me Dice--that's the way I roll.

Haha that is brilliant. Reminds me of all the how to bribe the DM talks I have been through.

Steel General

Iused to try yo bribe my GM with a 2lb. bag of his favorite M&Ms every session, never worked tho...

Acrimone

I play mostly online now, but the rule for my gaming groups has always been "If you don't bring food or drink, you go to the store to get something.  And we're waiting for you."
"All things excellent are as difficult as they are rare."

My house rule for any edition of D&D is anybody who brings the DM choolate covered coffee beans gets an extra 500 Experience Points at the end of the session.

That's a great idea! I love action points in 4E. My favorite use of it so far was how in one round I killed a minion, healed myself twice and used a daily on the BBEG. Paladins rock.

Also, off-topic, Kyron, have you ever heard a Ring-tailed Lemur speak? They're easily the funniest sounds you'll ever hear. When in Ireland we sat next to one that was just yelling its head off for about 10 minutes while perched on top of the food court. I think it was asking for food or calling to the other lemurs. They're so cute!
