Kianak: Puluv sounds like he or she is crying. Spots drift lazily in front of your stinging eyes. Just a little rest wouldn't hurt. The warmth of the crackling fire seems like such a soothing lulabye.

You have one last round before the final save, DC 16.

Kianak finally loses the fight to stay awake. He falls out of the chair and now lies still on the floor he's breathing slow and steady.

[ic=Kieru]Kieru grimaces in frustration as new sounds bombard his sensitive ears. Once again the accursed sun above has hindered him, and yet at the same time it very well has saved his life...lowering his staff, he falls into a crouch and silently catches his breath.[/ic]

Zan grimaces as his stinging wounds throb constantly. Zan moves off to the side of Garak where he says, "Alright, something is happening. How about we work together? I'll take a look at your wounds, Kiag."

And by take a look at his wounds, I mean shove a demon monkey into them (jk).

K, X & G: Garak holds his hand out, claws ready as Zan approaches. "You're lucky I have better things to do than kill you. Back off..."

The runes fade as the central disc scrapes inward. The two halves begin to part, revealing a dark opening in the rock. The disc continues to slide apart until the 3' wide circle rests like a giant black eye.

"Kieru! Your treachery will not go unpunished, but I may forgive you if they path is first tread by feet other than my own."

[ic=Zan VP: 3/7 1/4 HP *after healing*]
Zan summons the sprout spirit from his body and spreads it over a small area (Kieru gets 1 hp back) and release the sprout into himself (curing 1 VP). Zan will stick behind the two Witchdoctors and follow them, maybe.

[ic=Kieru]"You make it sound as if I have a choice." Kieru sarcastically replies, his breathing slowing as he feels a new source of energy flow through him.

How is it that...the shaman? Why would that bug help me?

Shaking more confusing thoughts from his head, Kieru approaches the doorway. What a strange day this has been...[/ic]

Kieru: Fumbling around the stone, you manage to step through the portal into the inky interior of the mountain. The first thing you notice is a sickening temperature drop. With the sun at its zenith, even the frosty mountains are bearable with low wind, but inside it feels as cold as a winter night. Within seconds you also notice the presence of a light wind flowing from within. Perhaps another opening can be found be found nearby.

Kianak: You feel yourself falling... With a jolt, you hit the cold floor. Your body instinctively pushes up, trying to resist gravity. Stiff arms don't respond easily to the call, lifting maybe an inch then dropping. In fact, your entire body feels stiff as a board. Your eyes open and you realize that you are no longer within the warm cabin with Puluv. Icy darkness surrounds you and you hear the faint drip of water. With a strained push, you peel your head off the hard stone and try to find a comfortable sitting position. In the dark, alone.

Zan: Garak walks over to his armor and pulls it back over his hunched back, fastening the ties that were designed to unhook with a simple jerk. The hulking avian glares at you from the corner of his eyes. "Give thanks to your ancestors, for you are lucky that you live." (The literal translation is a bit different, but that's the general idea) The savage then stands and leaps through the dark doorway in the mountain.

Kianak: As you stand, bones cracking from time spent on the hard floor, a blast of frozen air hits you and chills your already frozen body. It would make sense that if there's wind, it must come from an entrance, perhaps you can find some light that way. Groping around your person, you find that all of your equipment remains, that which was not stolen, that is. Carried on the wind you can hear a faint sound... almost like singing... The dripping water doesn't sound too far off, but it's not in the same direction as the wind's source...

Kieru: Feeling your away along the left wall, you hear Garak leap through the opening. He seems to ignore the fact that just a minute before he was in heated combat as he says "You may as well try taking a look around, weakling. My eyes are as good as blind in here."

[ic=Kianak] Kianak rubs his head.Next time I'm sticking with my water. I must find out what was in that tea. He checks his things and is very suprised to find what was left of his gear ther. Why would someone drug me, drag me to who knows where and leave me free and with my stuff. This is making less and less sense. He listens to the sound of the dripping water as he checks his waterskins. One and less than half in the other. With that he starts to slowly head toward the sound of singing and the wind.[/ic]

[ic=Zan]
Zan stared coldly at Garak after tending to his arm. He follows the Kiag into the cave and summons forth a Glowbug to help lead the way.  "Maybe you should thank them for letting you see..." the tall bug says quietly behind the hulking avian witchdoctor.

[ic=Kieru]His eyes open beneath his blindfold, Kieru can see the faint glow of Zan's nearby Glowbug before he removes the cloth from his face. Unknotting the blindfold and holding it in one hand, the nyamm turns away from the Glowbug before opening his eyes. "If you value your life, keep that thing away from my face."[/ic]

Most of the Party: The invisible spirit begins to glow, creating an eerie will-o-wisp in the frosty cave. Golden light reflects off of ice the encrusts various corners of what now appears to be an artificial enclosure. A few square pillars are placed regularly throughout the medium sized room. Devoid of any trappings or architecture save the pillars, the smooth, blank room has three exits. In both of the far corners are open archways that go to the left and the right, on the far wall is a large stone door.

-------------------------------

Kianak:
The frozen air is harsh on your stiff joints and after taking a drink from the spout of one of your water skins and stretching, you begin to fumble blindly through the dark. The voice on the wind never does seem to get louder, as if the source of the song, if it is a song, is moving away. As you climb over rock walls, stalactites and patches of ice you realize that you're headed generally downward. As you nearly bash your head on a low overhang, you enter a large room where even your footsteps seem to echo. The wind is stronger here, forcing you to hunch low and hold your wings in tight.

Please make a listen check.
