Elemental_Elf

My name was created when I first joined the WotC forums. I had gone by another alias in the past (Motoko the Twilight) but I felt I needed a new name to represent the DnD-er in me. I knew I loved Elves (back then, and still) and loved Elemental evocation magic (especially Ice/Cold). Cold Elf didn't sound nearly as cool as Elemental Elf did.

What's your user name's story?

Nomadic

Well it should be pretty obvious what it means. For those of you who don't know though, a planeswalker is a traveler who journeys between planes of reality. It ties in with both my name and my avatar.

If you had a battle tortoise what type of weapon would you equip it with?

Elemental_Elf

A shell mounted rotating Monkey Gripped +4 Flaming Vorpal Naginata!

If you were to equip your own battle tortoise to combat mine, what would you equip your's with?

SilvercatMoonpaw

ITBM: Inter-Tortoise Ballistic Missile.

Do you still enjoy the cartoons you liked as a kid?
I'm a muck-levelist, I like to see things from the bottom.

"No matter where you go, you will find stupid people."

Nomadic

Heck yea, you're never too old to watch wile e coyote...

What would you name your battle tortoise?

BlueSilence

hm... Filippo

Do you consider yourself a good person?
I know I may not make sense sometimes (regardless of language) but... thanks.

Ninja D!

I consider myself to be someone who tries to do what is best from their own point of view whenever possible, though is limited by my own personal issues.

Do you believe in good and evil?

SDragon

Some new answers to old questions:

Quake 3 is certainly up there for me, although Goldeneye was pretty damned fun. I also like classics, like the original Doom, or the original Quake. The only thing I really care about in Cube/Sauerbraten is the editing engine, which is really nice, but I think there should be some sort of editing lock on established levels.

Pulp Fiction kicked ass on an intellectual level. I haven't seen Reservoir Dogs.

I haven't played SMK in so long, I forget who my favorite driver was; I tend to prefer the more agile drivers over the more brutish drivers, though. I do like Super TuxKart.

Quote from: NomadicWait, how does having the logical half of your brain modeled after George W. Bush make you unstoppable? Cause I could swear I thought it would just make you clinically retarded.

Have you ever tried debating with somebody clinically retarded? Try it and see how far you'll get.

That does make sense... in my defense though I would probably get farther with them than most.

Evil exists in this world and it must be stamped out but not at the cost of our own liberties and freedoms (they're 2 different concepts).

What's your favorite European Empire and why?

Define European (very few empires remained located within one continent/large region).

Quote from: NomadicWhere did you get your current alias (internet username) from?

When I first started doing internety stuff in high school, I was going through a villaisn are cool phase.  Khyron is the name of one of the Zentraedi aliens from Robotech.  I thought he was nifty because he was the one that stayed evil from beginning to end rather than going turncoat like Exedore, Bretai, or Miriya.  So, I adopted khyron as my nom de internet, but the forum I wanted to register for had a khyron, so I added the 1144 to the end and there we are.

The British.  I doubt we'd have any place in the neighborhood to go for a curry, if they hadn't been involved with India.

Probably not meant as a general question, but I have a response.  Not debate as such, but when you work food service you get all types of customers, and I have had to talk some people with challenges into making a decision on what to order.

Is it your civic duty to vote whether or not you're ignorant on the candidates and issues? Is it okay to admit that your vote mostly just adds a bit of randomness to the system?

It is your responsibility to make an informed decision when you vote. If you do not want to put forward the effort to learn about the candidates and/or the issues beyond the headlines, then you shouldn't vote, period. This is why I am in opposition to all these 'get out the vote' movements & compulsory voting. Democracy fails when ignorant, lazy people vote.

What was your first pet and why was he/she/it special?

khyron1144

My first pet that was really mine was a corgy dog named Spunky.  He or she (I was five or six, so the difference might not have been that obvious to me) was kind of a Christmas miracle.  I asked Santa for a dog.  I did not get a dog.  I got a container of dog biscuits with a promise of maybe you can get a dog sometime soon.

We heard a scratching at our back door.  It was a dog.  This dog led us back to her home, where it turns out she had delivered a litter of puppies recently that wer old enough to be given away.  Spunky was one of those puppies.

Quote from: Ninja D!Do you believe in good and evil?

Kinda but not really.  I have some moral standards mostly based on pleasure (good) and pain (evil), but there are exceptions and weird hypotheticals.  I am pretty sure I believe that it is not a morally good act to sit in church (or synagogue or mosque or whatever) and be bored by the sermon (or whatever the local equivalent is), and it is epsecially not good to deliver a boring sermon.

Has Santa ever really come through for you?

Well the first pet I interacted with (it was older than me heh) was my dads cocker spaniel named Tiger. He was very protective of his family (he would sit on your foot so he knew if you got up so he could follow you).

Santa comes through for me every year (if he doesn't want mrs clause to find out about xxxsanta-and-frosty.com mwahahahaha).

What's more important for you, intelligence or wisdom?
