Ninja D!

Since you don't state what kind of game, I'm going to go with Gerbil Physics on XBox.

What book are you reading right now? If you're not reading a book, what book did you read most recently?

Superfluous Crow

I've just begun reading Red Seas under Red Skies by Scott Lynch (the sequel to the absolutely fantastic Lies of Locke Lamora), seeing as I can't get to the friend who has promised to lend me Towers of Midnight (WoT) and Feast for Crows (aSoIaF). I'd really like to get through those two grand epics (well, as far as I can get considering they aren't done yet) so I don't feel like I'm falling behind.

In the same vein, what was the last movie you watched?
Currently...
Writing: Broken Verge v. 207
Reading: the Black Sea: a History by Charles King
Watching: Farscape and Arrested Development

Kindling

True Grit. It was great!

What is the most unjustifiably angry you have ever been?

I once threw an alarm clock against the wall shattering the plastic front cover because it woke me up when I was supposed to be woken up and I really wanted to sleep in. Needless to say the other people in the house were not amused. Not even when I broke down in laughter after realizing what I'd done.

What would you say is your primary field of expertise.

Right now, grammar.  Which is why you must immediately change the most recent news post title to get rid of that atrocious apostrophe, you blackguard!

(In actuality, not grammar.  Probably my college field of specialization, which was nationalism and ethnic conflict).

What is your favorite ancient or medieval helmet/hat/crown/other headgear, or type thereof?  A picture would be nice.

I really like the Crown of Saint Stephen from Hungry. I thinks the dangles that really give it that extra "cool" factor. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/80/SZENTK%7E1b.jpg

If you were stranded on a deserted tropical island with a single celebrity, who would you choose?

Nomadic

Do they have to be still living? If not Carl Sagan, I'd never get sad or bored talking with him.

What are your favorite ancient, medieval, and modern age weapons?

Elemental_Elf

I've always really loved the Lance because its such an evocative weapon that really personifies an era of, not just warfare but, of human history.

You find yourself in a high fantasy castle, at the highest peak of the highest tower you will find the princess. However before you lie three separate paths, each of which lead to the Princess - The Direct rout leads you through the great hall where a necromancer and his zombie dragon are just dieing to meet you; the middle path around takes you through the court yard where a pride of Hellcats lie in wait; the long way around takes you through the maze-like dungeon where a single Minotaur stands between you and the Princesses' tower - which path do you choose?

Nomadic

I hook the princesses window with my grappling gun, climb up from the outside, and sneak her out safely.

Would you rather marry the princess with all her wealth and influence or your fellow female adventurer with her fighting skill and comradery

Kindling

If that camaraderie means we get on better than I do with the princess, then definitely the fellow-adventurer.
If it just means that I like them both equally, but the adventurer hangs out more like, as "one of the guys," then... well, probably still the adventurer, unless she's hideous.

Would you rather be a radiator for a year, or have to carry around a TV wherever you go for the rest of your life?
all hail the reapers of hope

Elemental_Elf

I would not want to be a device that regulates heat for people for a year... So I guess I'll have a TV :(

Which of the Arthurian Knights do you identify with most and why?

Kaptn'Lath

Sir Erec, for my name is Eric and i spend too much time with my wife and not enough time adventureing. Tho my wife is often the inspirations for my adventures.

Its after the apocolypse and you "step out of the vault" what 5 things (you actually own) do you hope you have on you and what one person do you wish is with you (that you know if RL)?

The 5 items I would have with me are:
- a Baseball Bat (To beat down the mutants and radioactive bugs)
- a Backpack (so I can carry stuff)
- a Knife (general purpose weapon + eating utensil)
- a Lighter (I'd probably take up smoking (gotta look cool post apoc!) and for starting fires)
- a bottle of Jack Daniels (because I'd need something to drown the sorrow in)

The person I would most want with me is... My friend who owns lots of guns (because I assume he gets 5 things as well, hehe!).

A horde of rust monsters have just been sighted in a dungeon. You are the plate-wearing, sword and board Fighter of the party. Your allies are a Bard, an Illusionist and a Transmutation Sorcerer. Alone, your friends will not survive the rust monsters' onslaught. However, they steadfastly refuse to pay even a portion of the replacement costs for your rusted equipment. The Rust Monsters are closing in, what do you do?

Nomadic

I use the bard as a flail and hope his blood doesn't have a high iron content.

Masterwork throwing gnomes?

Elemental_Elf

Yes Please!
