I've been working on a few short stories, though I've drifted away from Plotstorming for Critters. I've also been looking for a different job. And of course, I just back from India a few weeks ago.

What is this Critters you speak of?

I have been temporarily kidnapped by the cartographers guild. I am currently in the process of making two maps. One is for the current contest, the other is an updated map of Meishgon (which Xeviat is generously helping me on). However I still am running the commoners campaign and currently tinkering with the quick play rpg system. Furthermore I just got my fees paid off and was approved for financial aid for college. So that's also eating up some time as I prepare. I won't be gone forever, it's just a time when I am a bit distracted by other stuff.

Hey, I don't even allow gods in my stuff anymore.  :axe:

I'll have to let you review my setting once it gets back on track. There are no verifiable real gods (and there are many conflicting religions). A bit like the real world.

Well then I should also be clear that I don't allow magic or any kind of psychic powers either.  I like my universes to be based on the unintelligent things.

Not that this matters too much in someone else's setting.

Well my "magic" is low powered and scientifically plausible (it is just another type of energy akin to kinetic or heat or light, etc).

Then count me quite interested. :detect:

So, I promised I'd spill what I've been up to lately, so here it is. I just posted a thread called "Jade FATE", which is a fun little conversion of a marvelous system for my own use in the Jade Stage. It's ready for your perusal, though more details on some magic have yet to be added.

I'm also doing some work that will be posted on the Cartographers' Guild, though they don't know it yet. I am doing hand-drawn maps of some more of my continents, to add to my tiny little gallery on that site.

Not least, I still have big plans for my own wiki over here, and have been resolving to update that information for a few days now. Maybe I will eventually get around to actually typing it up!

Finally, I posted a new contest a couple of days ago, and I am eagerly awaiting some entries (though interested parties have plenty of time to organize their thoughts.)

Critters. A large internet critique group for writers of speculative fiction.

It's quota-based criting, meaning you have to give before you get.

These days, I've been busy reading and commenting on Paizo's forums for the upcoming Pathfinder RPG.

Though I do stop by here most days to vote and check the Recent Threads list. And I actually posted a new thread here the other day. But it was nothing intensive, and only earned a few brief comments.

I can't help not coming... I need my Warcrack AND my Warheroine 40k!!!!

So between my Warcraft and my Warhammer 40k addictions I'dve found dedicating time to the CBG difficult at best. =( Currently I'm debating between updating Kamalga, (creating, then) posting the setting bible to my Mecha Sci-Fantasy setting Eldersa or posting my avatar-inspired 4E setting Bhularaj (each magical power source (Arcane, Divine & Primal) are substitutes for the elements). Decisions, decisions...

Eladris

I have always been more of a lurker than a poster. ;)

Wake doesn't get much reading or commentary on the Wiki, and I've reached some creative barriers with the setting, in actual play, that have hampered its development.  The campaign I currently run in Wake is ending soon due to player schedule change, but I'll be starting something new in a more traditional fantasy setting.  I'll post this threadbare creation on the forum when time permits as I've always valued the feedback of this community.

We need a Wiki Awareness Campaign of some kind. Stuff on the Wiki seems to get ignored by everybody except the other wiki users, and it seems that many of those (myself included) just look at the top few entries of the "Recent Changes" list.

I'd be interested in hearing about Wake's creative barriers, because I always thought Wake was damn cool.

Well I know that I personally forget that the wiki even exists.  Besides I find stuff easier to deal with on a forum than a wiki.
