After watching a rather interesting motorcycle race, you head home and decide to log onto the CBG Message Boards to see what silliness Elven Doritos is up to.

As your computer boots up, a jolt of electricity runs through your body! Suddenly, you find yourself in a virtual world, standing in an empty blue space, patterns running all across the walls and ceiling. Two beings approach you from either side as a chess board appears on the ground in front of you.

The first is statuesque in build, broad-chested and rather grim. One of his eyes is made of gold, and he wields a high-tech pistol. "That's my ticket out of here, kid. You and me-- chess, now."

The second runs forward. He is of average height and build, but curiously glows a bright blue from head to toe. "No! He is from the Master Control Program! You mustn't trust him... I will play chess with you!"

What do you do?

ReBoot. It was a show on cartoon network for three years, and it was also about the workings of computer programs, but from a radically different perspective than Tron.

Oh, I remember that show.  Never really cared for it.  Still going with Tron.
