This is a bump for anyone that didn't notice the new pairings. The site has been nicely busy, but that means this thread doesn't always stay high up for even a day.

This project is still open for anyone else that wants to join, too.

Current Pairings:

Broken Verge // Arga
Eschaton // Vibrant
Panisadore // Ansolon
Mare Eternus // Saga of the Seven Swords
Magical Girl Game System // Three Worlds

This should probably be stickied, huh? :)

For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

It wouldn't hurt. I think most of us tend to look at the "recent posts" on the main page more than anything else. But stickies help newer members looking at individual forums for the first time.

Ish, I trust you more then myself to match me up with someone, so go ahead.

Matt Larkin (author)

All right, Nomadic, I added that Mare Eternus badge to the first page.

xxSiriusxx if you want a saga badge, let me know about general font preferences/style, or if you want a background graphic or anything.

So how's that? If you want something else, I need a little more direction.

This is rather asinine of me.  I want to join this quite a bit, but I can't quite figure out how to bring Tephra over to the CBG.  (Hence I've only taken part in general discussion threads rather than world-building.)  Nonetheless, I put together the two badges for my world -

Edit:  Which, of course, don't pull through.  I've been having this issue a lot recently.  Hmmm.... well, sorry for the wasted post - I'm trying to fix it!

I haven't really paid much attention to this thread because I'm not sure if I'd be that great of a consultant, but I do like the idea. I also never noticed you made a Crystalstar badge until now.  The "Terminator"-ish font and lighting are totally different from how I would've made it, but I do really like it. I just wonder if that was somewhat arbitrary in what you were playing with or if the setting somehow has those connotations for you? :D

Weird, since the url seems good. If I plug it into my browser I can see the badge. But not here. Wyrd.

I spoilered the full image somewhere in the thread. But I'll throw it in again here in case you didn't see it. It was an example of a badge that didn't shrink as well as others.

I was mostly trying out different styles with whatever settings came to mind. Crystalstar seemed suited for a more sci-fi style. I wanted to try to outspace weird lighting style.

Besides, I thought you had Terminators in Crystalstar? Just crystal-powered ones? No?

Oh, I like the full-sized one even more. You're right, it didn't shrink so well. It looks even better full-sized.

And as for crystal-powered terminators, well... if I didn't have them before, I certainly have them now. :D  :rambo:

I don't know if that counts as a peacock feather, but it's the best I could do.

I went with a blue to silver gradient for the color, but it wasn't legible, so I gave it an inner glow, which made it all seem kind of whitish.
