Mare Eternus is in need of artists of all types to create various bits of artwork. Creatures, vessels, gizmos, landscapes, and anything else you can think of it most likely needs (except modern art... nothing needs that). Anyhow I have made some decisions regarding this and so here is how it stands.

I am planning to contract out a cover piece and a dew other images from a professional artist (whom I have been referred to via gamerprintshop) but I would like alot more then 2-3 images to draw from for the finished product. So on that note I am contacting all CBGers with any artistic talent at all. If you can draw or paint or do anything else artistic, let me know. In particular you should let me know by making something that you think would fit in Mare Eternus. Whether its a drawing of a submersible, an aquatic creature, a weapon of some form, etc.

And here it is, the incentive you've all been waiting for. For every piece of art I get, regardless of quality I will donate $0.25 to the cbg (provided you aren't just spamming random crap :P). Additionally if the image is good or higher quality I will donate an additional amount based on how good/appropriate to the setting I think it is. Furthermore all artwork that I use will get the artist full attribution to it in the credits of the final Mare Eternus product.

And here's the coolest part... You're free to draw whatever you want as long as you think it fits the theme/feel of the setting. If I like your work I will go out of my way to somehow integrate it into the setting. Create a picture of a sentient creature, I'll work it in. If you make a ship I think looks really cool I might just make it a well known pirate vessel. Etc... etc...

Just put em right on here.

Oh and as a side note for those that care. You retain the copyright to the image, you just grant me the right to use the image in mare eternus (including as part of any distribution material such as pdf files and printed documents).

Bumping this up top... I've seen a few more artists so I would really like to see some of their stuff on here if they're able. Think of the donations and the ability to take part in and influence a setting (which is getting published).

You know you want to submit something ;)
