* Note on Character Creation and Subsequent Play: Play Points are usually awarded for adhering to your Persona. You lose Image Points when you do an action that does not conform to your persona. Therefore, choose carefully when adopting a Persona, the persona defines who you are.

---Booking the gig (Mgmt DC v. Event Cards [eg: Big band playing next door-- can you get in as opening act?]

2. Win Over the Fans
--- Start with 100 in crowd. D100 roll determines amount favorably inclined v. unfavorably.
--- 1 hour gig = 4 checks of d20. for Jazz+Glitter to win over fans (Start with 0; favorably inclined only need DC 15 check; after that DC 22 required to win over unfavorably.)
[Amount of checks rise with rise in number of fans possibly, can gain extra PlayPoints for good in-game descriptions to combat inevitable difficulty rises as the length of check after check after check goes on.]

I am not sure. But I have the placeholders in case I decide.
I think it may be playable as-is right now.

I might add a few more Powers for the personas.

Feel free to make up your own powers based on actual musicians/music/songs.

Some ideas that might fit in here:

Controlling Sonic Chaos; Maybe it's the excitement, maybe boredom, or maybe it was that funny little tab that one guy gave you before the show, but you have the urge to do something completely new this time. You'll improvise one song to the point of near incomprehensibility, highlighting the show, and polarizing crowd reactions. Looks fun! Here's a couple of thoughts:

Maybe a Retro character class? Maybe something like: Free Bird!: +5 Starpower, -5 mojo, +10 Jazz once a concert when you totally go solo, riding roughshod over all of your bandmates. There also needs to be a class with More Cowbell! as an ability.

What about the crunch for special instruments and sets?

Maybe a Metal stat? Kinda self explanatory.

Also, Grim and Giggly need different stat boosts.

Helix- Thank you for the ideas. I added some rudimentary discussion on instruments, purchaseable by spending Fans.

I also did some reworking of the base statistics- adding an IMAGE stat.

Added level 2 powers for EMO and for Giggly

Metal stat sort of folds under Star power.

I am not sure about the retro class, but I will consider it. I added a new Quirky class, however.
