Ishmayl-Retired

In the comics I'm reading (New Avengers, Civil War, and Astonishing X-Men; not to mention, Wolverine), he is not carrying a sword around... that may have just been a couple issues a little while back.

For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

what about the other titles hes in? like.... well, the rest of what marvels puts out (a phrase that is oddly fitting, given the context...).

but the fact that you can account for no sword throughout 4 titles that hes in is funny, seeing as an online friend of mine ended up blocking me over whether or not there was a point to him carrying a sword.

hey, new thread idea....

I've never read Sandman or 100 bullets, but I've heard they are awesome. I should check them out. Darkhorse is my babies daddy.

Ninja D!

I read a bit too much DC.  This last week I spent $20 on comics.  For comics, that is a lot (particularly for someone who is unemployed.)

Elven Doritos

I would, Ishy, but I'm not following Civil War-- I'm also letting my New Avengers subscription run out in a month or two.

So I have no clue.
Oh, how we danced and we swallowed the night
For it was all ripe for dreaming
Oh, how we danced away all of the lights
We've always been out of our minds

Velox

Yeah... I can't help you there, Ishmayl.

beejazz

I've got all issues of Heavy Metal '77 thru '80. mint condition. with the envelopes. and the comemorative binder.

That, and lots and lots and lots of old old old Flash Gordon.

That was awesome, Brainface. My favorite part
SHIELD goon: "You!"
Von Doom: "Oh, yes"

Ishmayl-Retired

Quote from: Velox121The closest I've got to Xmen is a Wolverine/Punisher crossover... and it rocks. They kill midgets! Yes, that Pheonix  plotline is completely ridiculous. They should have stuck to mutation as the catalyst for story... not any of this cosmic crap.

The books of Doom are fairly awesome. Von Doom is quite the badass.

Yeah, too bad they wussified him rather terribly in the movie... :(
