So, just wondering who did stuff for Halloween, what they did and most importantly, what did they go as.
Let me hear the stories.
(for the purpose of this, halloween counts as anything done recently with halloweeny spirit - the weekend counts too.)

For my part, on friday i went to my friend's ska band's halloween show and danced. I was dressed as King James II.

Saturday, i was Joliet Jake of the Blues Bros, and i went to see a band at a bar, then to anotther bar, then a dance club, then to see Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Sunday and Monday, unfortunately did not involve costumes. :(

Halloween night (today), i just wandered around with friends. I was one of the guys from Boondock Saints (best movie ever, man).

I have accepted fully my Irish heritage in the Celtic celebrations of Samhain.  I have decided to make my elves be very celtic in tribute to my Irish heritage.

I actually had two separate costumes:  I was originally going to go as the Phantom of the Opera, but my friend volunteered me a few weeks ago to dress up as a pirate with him, So during the day today we were both pirates.  When I got home, however, I changed into the Masque of the Red Death (the Vincent Price movie of which was coincidentally playing on TV).  In this costume I scared the hell out of a bunch of little kids.  It was fun

My fiance and I were going to go to my brother's annual Halloween party as Mal and Inara, but we didn't have enough time to go this year. :(  So instead, we watched Veronica Mars.

Took the boys to Boo at the Zoo. Most of the animals were asleep, but they had fun looking at all the people in costumes. And they liked the giraffes.

Then stayed home to hand out candy to the neighborhood kids. The boys were again fascinated to have people in costumes coming right to their door.

Unfortunately, the weather was around -5C. Colder than a witch's tit, as me old pa would say. So not too many kids out.

We had an overcapacity blowout at work Saturday, a line out the door even after last call.  Great costumes, wild crowd, live music.

Sunday, a bit depressing as the Panthers and Steelers got their asses whooped, but Tennessee won, so the day was not a total loss.

Monday.  Kidney stone.

Halloween.  Great fun passing out a ton of candy to all and sundry. Kidney pain?  Not with Darvocet.
