From SRD:
Extreme heat (air temperature over 140Ã,° F, fire, boiling water, lava) deals lethal damage. Breathing air in these temperatures deals 1d6 points of damage per minute (no save). In addition, a character must make a Fortitude save every 5 minutes (DC 15, +1 per previous check) or take 1d4 points of nonlethal damage. Those wearing heavy clothing or any sort of armor take a -4 penalty on their saves. In addition, those wearing metal armor or coming into contact with very hot metal are affected as if by a heat metal spell.

[ic=Announcer] This is going to be one heck of a fight ladies and gentlemen. The arena has been turned into a bubbling pool of lava. Only the toughest of our athletes have survived the onslaught of the heat contained within the combat area. I am glad I am high above the field on this lovely mid-autumn day. Here come our combatants (crowd starts to cheer). Out of the northern gates comes Diazzo, he has shown magnificient abilities inside the ring. He comes Tharamir out of the southern gate, oh my this is going to be interesting folks. We now have two spellcasters facing off.[/ic]

[ooc] Since there is no DM for this match, I guess we will use the honor system. Secret moves will be entered into spoiler blocks. The other combatant will not be allowed to look at these, so if they do something where the secret move affects them you will have to tell them.

 Before entering Initiate fell flight and see the unseen[/ooc]

[ic=Diazzo HP=30 AC=21]Diazzo mutters quietly, waves his hand in front of his eyes, and disappears from sight.  The crowd gasps, and looks to Tharamir.[/ic]
[ooc]I know you can probably see me with your See the Unseen thing, but Diazzo doesn't know that, and going Invisible is one of his starting moves.  By the way, do your Warlock powers give off a magic aura?  I've got Arcane Sight on and I'm curious as to what Diazzo can see.[/ooc]

[ooc]Since they work like the spells I would assume I am light up like a christmas tree.What exactly you see I don't know. I have two abilities active, but since I do not have my book I can't tell you the strength of each. [/ooc]

[ic=Tharamir]A spellcaster, eh? This should slow him down. He draws a wand and points it toward the north gate. The crowd noise is suddenly gone to Diazzo and so are the sounds of bubbling lava.[/ic]

[ooc]Luckily this map has platforms, since we didn't discuss it before the match. I would say as long as you stay on your staring platform then it is acceptable to move. So yes I02 would be fine. Though I think Tharamir is going to be a little miffed that you got luckjy and found the edge of his silenced area. :)[/ooc]

[ic=Diazzo HP=30 AC=21]Diazzo, seeing the outline of a spell, realizes that this must be an area of magical Silence, he turns, finds an unaffected area, and walks over to it.  There, raises one arm into the air, gives a shout, and a burst of energy comes from his fist.[/ic]

Ok, so 2 rounds have passed so combat is beginning and so is the damage taking for wearing metal. I'm not sure but I think metal weapons will also be dealing more damage.[/ooc]

[ooc]I have a Quarterstaff, so I won't be doing any extra damage.  But I won't be taking any for wearing armor, either.[/ooc]
