How do I make it happen?

I can see the names of those present, but can't read what I or they write.

Thanks if anyone knows how to      fix this

sparkletwist

It has the same behavior on iOS (or at least it does on my iPad)

Magnus Pym

Oh so there's nothing to do about this?

sparkletwist

I didn't say that!
I hope it can be fixed.

It's more, I don't know what's going wrong, and it seems to affect more than just Android. What browser are you using?
(If it's Google Chrome, it might be something to do with WebKit on mobile devices)

Magnus Pym

I'm pretty new to smartphones, but I know I'm currently using google; so yeah, might be Google Chrome.

Alright!

limetom

I'd say look for a dedicated smartphone app for IRC. Don't have a smartphone, but I'd wager there are some out there.

I use Yaaic on my HTC Desire. Try looking for it in the Market, it should be free.

Ok thanks Omega!
How do I set it up?

Ninja D!

I recently got an IRC app for my Android. I'll find and post the name later.

Hibou

I'm not sure what phone you're using so I can't be certain how you set it up, but it should be pretty simple. Find "Add a Server" in the menu, all you should need to put in for the server address is "irc.otherworlders.org" and you should be able to connect and join the CBG chat using /join #thecbg as normal.

Magnus Pym

Oh, thats very simple then
 Thanks Omega

Magnus Pym

It works on my Android (yaaic). I can't see anyone in the room though.

Ninja D!

That means it doesn't work properly, actually. Make sure you're joining #thecbg and not #cbg. That's an easy mistake to make and one I've made a couple of times.
