I think it was probably just a sticking point. We can probably get past it. It happens in all play by post games. People get busy or don't know what their character should do or get confused by what is going on or lost in a combat or whatever. This is still one of the stronger play by post games I've been in or seen, despite me.

"Pay it no heed."

Archimedes leapt on a Krogan and ate his spleen! How can we NOT give it heed!?  :P

Now that we've had two big combat encounters under our collective belt, I'd like to know if you guys liked using the map or not? Was it more fun to just say where you are going in a relative sense or did you prefer the more stringent map with the grid?

LD

I think the map is necessary because we keep getting confused when we don't use it.

But if it's too much work for you, then I understand.

CoyoteCamouflage

It's a useful resource that I avail myself of when it's present. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't there, but it mostly depends on how difficult it is to produce.

Considering most of us tend towards a more "hide behind something" mentality during combat, I don't think exact positioning is as important. But that's just me.

I think at least a rough map is pretty much needed. If it's too time consuming for you, we can survive without it. You could also save time by making the maps less detailed and a grid isn't a must, either, as long as a compass rose is included. If there were any serious question, we could open a copy of the map in paint and post it up in a spoiler with a mark showing where we want to be.

In other news, I am reall sorry about my (lack of) activity in this game. I had been working on improving that and then for a large part of this last week I've been busy and occupied with other stuff so I have barely been online at all. Assuming they still come with an e-mail, I encourage anyone and everyone to nudge me with a PM whenever they want to hear something out of Sal.

Question: What did we agree upon for the canon of what's going on in the Citadel?

LD

The council lived and Udina is the human representative ?

Steerpike

Did we all do a playthrough of ME1?  I suggest we go with the aggregate decisions.

Personally, I saved the Council, made Anderson representative, killed Kaidan, saved Wrex, killed the colonists, let the Rachni go, killed Rana, helped Kirrahe, and aided Gianna.

Oh, and I played as Femshep.
