[ic]Archimedes forces the salarian children to either side down, letting his shields absorb the electrical grenade's discharge.  Hastily he leaps into the aisle and scuttles into hacking-range of the geth, talons skittering across his Omni-Tool.[/ic][ooc]Use Tech (AI Hacking): [blockquote]Rolled 1d20+12 : 15 + 12, total 27[/blockquote][/ooc]

[ooc]Success, your check exceeded the Geth's will defense by 10 points. You can control the Geth for 3 turns. He has a movement of 6 squares, a [Blaster Rifle] and three frag grenades.

Elemental_Elf

[ooc]As it is written right now, yes you could do that. He still has to make an attack roll and damage roll.

Elemental_Elf

[ooc]He will do as you command on his turn

[ooc]Move Combat drone to flank if possible. Then have it shoot

[ooc][spoiler=Combat Drone]
Using Tech, you create a small drone to aid you in combat
- Time: 1 Swift action.
- Target: None
- Effect: Make a Use Tech check. The check determines the abilities of the Combat Drone generated. Every Drone has 10 + 1/level hit points. Each Drone has the following abilities: Strength 1, Dexterity 12, and Intelligence 10. Drones do not have a Constitution, Wisdom or Charisma score. Drones utilize their creator's Base Attack Bonus. Every Drone comes equipped with a gun that deals 1d4 damage. You can only have 1 Drone out at a time. You may move the drone as a free action and command it to fire as a swift. The Drone has a Reflex Defense of 10 + 1/2 your level.

DC 10: The Drone gains 5 hit points and deals 1d6 points of damage
DC 15: The Drone gains 10 hit points and deals 1d8 points of damage
DC 20: The Drone gains 15 hit points and deals 1d10 points of damage
DC 25: The Drone gains 20 hit points and deals 1d12 points of damage
DC 30: The Drone gains 25 hit points and deals 2d8 points of damage
DC 35: The Drone gains 30 hit points and deals 2d10 points of damage[/spoiler]

So your drone has a +3 (2 for your BAB (IIRC) and 1 for its DEX).

Sadly, a 6 misses but you can easily position the drone into flanking position. [/ooc]

#413
[ic]You hear a loud BOOM then the ship careens off course, as if blown away by an explosion. A woman screams as she peers out a window. A Turian yells, "What in the name of the Citadel is that!?"  Curiosity grabs hold of you and you find your eyes darting towards a window - a hulking behemoth of a ship races around the airliner, its cylindrical shape belies its maneuverability and power. The ship blasts mighty bolts fire-colored energy at the Geth, easily destroying all of their attack craft. The passengers let out a sigh of relief - they were saved - only to see this relief turn into horror as the leviathan of a ship slowly turns around and shoots thick bio-mechanical whips that latch onto the airliner and slowly drag the craft into a docking bay. People scream and panic, no one knows what is going on. However, before they can blame the Human for their misfortune, a veritable horde of small bugs swarm the cabin and quickly paralyze everyone.

You do not know how much time has passed since you were knocked out but it feels like it was a long time. The air around you is stale and has a slight musky aroma. The cavern in which you were dumped appears to be made out of rock. There is a single metal door on each side of the cave. A buzzing noise booms into the cavern at intermittent intervals, its meaning unknown.  As you look around, you spot a dead Turian lying on his stomach, decked out in some of the nicest equipment the Citadel markets have to offer. You flip the body over and check his Omni-Tool to see if he has any identification. The information on the Omni-Tool seems to be mostly deleted  but you manage to find his name was Kragus Zakara, it seems he was a Specter on assignment to investigate sightings of unknown crafts in the Terminus Systems, what he's doing on the other side of the galaxy is anyone's guess. There's also a log entry, highly damaged, that merely has the voice of the Turian, he sound as if he's been running for a long time, whispering, as best he can, "They're after me. I... I can't survive... Must contact Coun... *screech*. The log ends there. [/ic]

[ooc]The Turian has the standard assortment of 4 guns - Pistol, Shotgun, Rifle, Sniper Rifle - all of which are completely unmarked and painted black. Each gives you +2 to hit. The Turian's armor is painted completely black and appears to be cutting edge technology (the equivalent of Storm Trooper Armor). The Turian has 2 high energy grenades (counts as Thermal Detonators). [/ooc]

[ic]Archimedes sniffs the air.  His lips draw back in a rictus of animal displeasure and his hackles rise.

"This is an unexpected turn.  Well then.  If the straight foreward pathway be lost, into the forest dark we must needs venture..."

He moves towards the metal door to the left and listens carefully.[/ic][ooc][blockquote]Rolled 1d20+7 : 12 + 7, total 19[/blockquote][/ooc]

Elemental_Elf

[ooc]Archimedes hears buzzing, like a swarm of insects is racing by on the other side of the door.

[ooc]Lady Luck is not with you today.

LD

[ic]"What the Boshtet *#&k?" Lini scans the room with her OmniTool, trying to deliberate if there is a thinner area of the wall in a particular section. If she locates one, then she will hiss, pick up one of the high energy grenades, insert it into a hole and set it to trigger. Then she will go back and pick up a sniper rifle, unless someone else has taken one. "*#($ing Nazi doesn't even have a #*((ing assault gun. She comments as she picks up the sniper rifle. "Obvious why the *#(#ing bugs ganked him." Then as the countdown for her grenade to blow nearly hits zero, she stands with her hands on her hips and snarls at a door. "F*#&*ing Geth-hating bugs, eat your *#($ing electronics and leave us organics $($%ing be." [/ic]

[ooc]Physical Sciences Roll for what killed the Turian [blockquote]Rolled 1d20+10 : 8 + 10, total 18[/blockquote]
Galactic Lore Roll for what the ****ing bugs are and their weaknesses [blockquote]Rolled 1d20+10 : 5 + 10, total 15[/blockquote] Also for the ship...who owns it and their plans. [blockquote]Rolled 1d20+10 : 3 + 10, total 13[/blockquote]. And to see if I came across any juicy tidbits about this Spectre when I was hacking into Citadel comps. [blockquote]Rolled 1d20+10 : 16 + 10, total 26[/blockquote]

Perception roll to scan the room [blockquote]Rolled 1d20+7 : 11 + 7, total 18[/blockquote]
[/ooc]

Elemental_Elf

[ooc]It appears a slow acting poison killed the Turian.

You have no idea who the bugs are but you think bullets are a likely weakness :P

The ship is completely unknown but you have heard tales of cylindrical ships from pirates and explorers but before now, you assumed they were myths.

The Specter's Omni Tool seems to have been purposefully wiped then half deleted. He seems to have been exploring the Terminous systems and visited planets you've never even heard of.

You spot a small hole in the ceiling, it seems to be a passage way made for small creatures. There's also one near the southern door. Perhaps there is a network of small tunnels for the bugs to fly through.
