I suggest that we prepare the ambush now, rather than sleeping the night away. As for attacking before they finish breaking camp, that's what the scouting is for. I'll torch you a signal as they start, allowing you to catch them off guard. We have tonight. We can't gamble on tomorrow.[/ic]

[ooc]Waxing gibbous - that means we can expect good moonlight through most of the night, but the moon will set around 3-4 am. That means we'll be able to see well enough to move around during most of the night - but by the same token our enemies, if they are watching, will have a better chance to spot us.[/ooc]

[ooc]So we set up our positions before the moon falls. I'll sneak around, 'cause that's what I'm good at, and incapacitate whoever tries running off. Rest of you with any melee can take positions behind walls or whatever. Somebody with range in the tower. Only potential problem is communication. I could use a torch signal to determine start, but how to tell our sniper where the stragglers are in the dark? Once they leave the firelight, they're gone.[/ooc]

[ooc]Indeed, I do believe that it is dusk right now. There was mention of sunset, but not much has transpired since then except banter. I'm expecting Behrem to return just as it starts to get truly dark, but even now the moon should be visible in the east, based on its phase. At least if I remember my astronomy correctly.

Anyway, once Behrem returns we should be able to move on with enough moonlight to see by.[/ooc]
