[ic=Rashine] Good. We'll head together to the tower. Keep your eyes peeled, all. As for the people in the camp, we'll see. It's one of the reasons for sending in scouts. We must know that these are our intended targets, not to mention what we're up against.[/ic]
[ooc] And yeah, if melee's your thing, you'll be joining me. Only you'll be charging out of the cover at their front while another scout and I sneak and take their flank.[/ooc]

[ooc]Behrem will follow close behind me, the rest of the party should follow after two rounds, or 3 minutes if we're not in combat time yet.  I'll make my skill checks when requested by the DM.[/ooc]
[ooc]I won't be home until 6:30 or so EST, I'd be grateful if combat didn't start until then, or at least any major tactical maneuvering.[/ooc]

[ooc]Just finishing my lunch, I won't really be available until about 8:00 pm MST when the boys have gone to bed. Meantime, you can make skill checks for me as needed.[/ooc]

[ooc]Of course, you did all this while I was changing operating systems, so I haven't been here to comment.

The complex is built like a huge keep, with courtyards and walkways separating each of the mostly open-air buildings.  The complex is not walled.

Anyway, if you plan to travel all the way to where the monk said, you will not have a specific idea of where you want to go.  Also, you will essentially be walking in to where you are going blind, with no idea of the number of the enemy, nor their efficacy as a fighting force.  There is a chance that you will get lost.[/ooc]

[ooc]It was my understanding that our first destination was the tower, to drop off our sniper(s) with scouts shortly ahead. The tower will hopefully give us a view of the encampment. Also, are there ceilings or are those 'ruined'?[/ooc]

[ic=Behrem]As we move toward the tower, Behrem will drop back within sight distance of those following from time to time. We'll try to keep the tower in sight as we navigate between the buildings. I think we should scout up to where we can observe the base of the tower (or the building it is attached to), then fall back to regroup before the rest of the group comes up to that point.

Based on what we see at that point, we can decide how to proceed from there.[/ic]

[ooc]Most of the building you are currently in is a courtyard, so there is no ceiling.  There is an open space between here and the closest building.  Said building is very large, and takes you all the way to the tower.  That being said you can see the closest portion of the building from your current location.[/ooc]

@ Lime: How long would it take to reach the other side of the temple? Is "the tower" on the other side or more in the center?[/ooc]

[ic=Behrem]To Atefeh: "Let's move across the open space to the next building. We'll scout the interior from there, and let the others follow us across after a minute or two. If we see anything dodgy, we'll meet back up with the others. We need to find a way through to that tower."[/ic]

[ooc]As we move through that building, keep an eye out for courtyards or other open areas so we can judge our location relative to the tower.[/ooc]

[ooc]The tower is in the center of the complex.

The building is open air along the way you are traveling, and from what you can see, the tower is several hundred feet in front of you.  The sun does not come into the building, so it is dark inside.[/ooc]

[ic=Atefeh]I take a deep breath and close my eyes, the let them snap open.  Sinking into a crouch, I begin stealthily moving towards the closest entry to the large tower-adjacent building.  I nod towards Behrem to follow.[/ic]
