The Campaign Builder's Guild

So it's a little short notice, but do we have anyone that would be interested in running a game this week? What about player availability? What kind of schedules are people looking at?

I can start a poll or tally if necessary.

I have tonight at tomorrow night off. I can play any evening but I have to leave by 9:30 PM, Central time. Also, I can't start terribly early. I need to sleep sometimes.

EDIT : I'm not able to run this week, just saying when I would be available to play.

Same as Ninja. Play? Sure. Run? Not so much.

Maybe, to avoid the short notice thing, we should have people sort of sign up (at least tentatively) for a week / time slot they want to run? I'd really like to see this become a regular thing so I'm just throwing ideas out there. Weekly might be difficult to keep up, too, but at least once or twice a month with some regularity would be really cool.

I should be available this Friday to play, unless something really important comes up. And unless it's at ridiculous times like 6-7 PM, in which case I can't even make myself a good meal. Healthy meal > Gaming!

I don't think I understand. That's fairly normal time for gaming and what does that have to do with eating?

I put the boy to bed at 8:45, so right after that.  I'm on eastern time, btw.

Premade characters? I slept through the night last night and have to work tonight so I probably won't be up but I might drop by if I am.

*phew*  those coastal in and out trips are killers...they wreak havok on the body.
The Purple Forest adventure is a pulpy, Old School feel, mediterranean game.  It is made for players to jump in and put in a character.  No stress is going to be put on the realism of people wandering in the Purple forest. 

I have next Friday and Saturday off (Thursday, too, but I'm going to see Andrew WK that night). Was anyone planning on running then? If not, I can throw something together. If 'm going to do it, though, I'd like to know by Monday.

I'm running Haveneast either Thursday or Friday night, depending on what works better for everyone. Although that's kind of outside the WG now, I was going to run it as such if nothing else was running. If you want to run a game as well though, I'm all for it.

I have an idea I may flesh out but once it's written up, it doesn't really matter WHEN I run it.

EDIT : It's sort of built from my idea for a game set in the Robocop universe. The PCs will be cops or work with the cops. They'll be called into a standoff situation and there are hostages. It could turn into one big gun fight or it could go deeper than that. What happens if these supposed terrorists are being reasonable or make sense? What if one or more of the PCs agree with them? What if everyone does? Do they continue to do their job, even if they feel they arein the wrong? What if going with what they think is right would mean turning their weapons on other cops that are doing their job? Dun dun DUUUN! Or, like I said, big gun fight. Fun either way.

So, does a modern to near-future law enforcement (with a touch of civil unrest and corporate corruption) game sound like something that people would want to play as a one-shot? I could start as early as 7PM Central on Friday or Saturday (slightly better), or put it off to a later date.
