For those that have'nt seen it: Ruins of a Metro-necropolis
For those that have, I've snipped out information that I don't want you to remember. I've hidden my most recent material all emo style, and I'll only reveal it as the PCs play it out.

Here are the rules.

Start at level 5, with 10k GP. You also get a pool of 2,000 point that can be used instead of XP points for creating magic items.

The official DnD books I have: CORE 3.5, XPH, Completes Warrior, Arcane, Divine, Andventurer, Psionic, Races of Destiny, Stone, the Environmental Books., Libris Mortis, Lords of Madness, PHB 2, DMG 2, MM 2&3, and Unearthed Arcana. Heroes of Horror, Hereos of Battle, Minatures Handbook.
Other books I'm using: Hyperconcious, Mind's Eye web articals, Dieties and Demigods, and Savage Species. Ask before unsing any of these materials, and make links to any Mind's Eye articals you wish to use.

Psionic Limits: You character may not have a base primary manifesting class; no Psions, Wilders, Ardents or Eruedites. You may not use the Divine Mind, and you can't have any power that does not have a range of Touch or Personal.

There are no XP penalties. Favoured classes instead allow you to take any racial substitution level. Yes this means that humans can take any racial substitution level with their highest class.

There is only one Item Creation feat. It is called "Matgical Item Creation" and it's effects are bassed apon how many ranks in Craft (alchemy) you have. Also, you don't need to be a spell caster to use alchemy. Fighters can now make thunder stones.

Skills are now very complicated. After lvl1, a class level increases the max ranks in Class skills by 1 and cross-class skills by 0.5. For single class PCs nothing changes, but multiclassers will have to do some extra math. Skill point are now retroactive. INT boosting is good. Also, one skill point buys you one rank, always.

I like to hand out free feats and abilities, so be ready. Also, there is only goog and evil, or neutral. No chaotic, or lawful.

Starting races: Any goblins, hob goblins, humans, orcs, half-orcs, cloud elf (MM grey varient), plains elf (PHB), wood elf (Races of War's Drow, and the Planetouched from Races of War.

At the top of your Character Sheet, tell me which spot you want to take.
    Mage1*Mage2*Sweaper/Rampager*Tank*Mr.Skillz

Finaly, chosse an astro sign. Fire, Ice, Lightning, Acid, Darkness, Light, Rocks, Metal, Forest, Spirits, Animals, and Excesively Bouncy Rubber Ball.

The Ruins of Mirafar

Before the great invasion, Mirafar was the grandest and most prosperous of all the cities in the world, and the largest necropolis of all time. Ruled by a lich and policed by vampires, it's economic power and military might formed an unstoppable engine of destruction, rebirth and prosperity, despite the setbacks of having a necroticaly tainted populous. It was also the home of the second largest center of magical knowledge and power. Many large stone towers house the living populants, while the graveborn slumbered in the tombs dug beneath the city. The sight from outside it's stone walls evoked a mixture of awe and despair. But walking the obsidian streets was known to be the most relaxing most people would ever encounter. Even the sight of a shambling zombie would not bother the residents.

Mirafar was known for it's military genius. Each shambling warrior was expertly animated and well preserved by liches, led by gifted tacticains and supplimented with vampire ninjas and living warriors. Since Mirafar gained a living population of 10,000, the kindom never lost a war.

None, save for the Formian Invasion. The outsiders were swift and tactful in attacking Mirafar first. They took in a year, with support from Mirafar's greatest rival kingdom, whose name has since been forgotten. Without the great necrotic empire, the Formians took the rest of the world with ease. Very few citizens, living and unliving, left the kingdom before it's fall, and only a handfull were able to escape the collaspe of the empire.

Though most of the outsiders have since been banished, and the kingdom's lands retaken, the world will never see the dark and beautiful splendor that was Mirafar. Unless the founding Lich King Mirafar himself is still animate.

-------------------------

Thru the laws of heritage and decendance, you and your companions are of the few people who have the right to reclaim the land for your own. Your military commander has accepted your request to have the sole honour taking the city back.

[ic=General Edward Duke]"Remanants of the Formians are still in the city capital itself, though were speculating that remanant undeath energy should still cause much trouble to any living intruders. Reasoning that's why the Formians used this place as a prison. I'll leave you a small camp of warriors to hold off guerillas while you cleanse your ancient homeland."[/ic]

Across the open dirt field sits the city. A few towers are missing from the paintings you have viewed in your youth, and a half-built formian mound has sprung up. This hollow husk is your birthright, and you can feel your home calling to you. Creepy...

This setting looks very interesting, and i'd like to try it out if you have a spot open.

But first, when are you planning on having playing sessions? Would it be scheduled, or a continous, ongoing thing?
I just want to make sure that i'd be able to actually play before I start in on anything.

I'd probably want to be 'Mr. Skills'. Sounds fun. Maybe with the Lightning sign.
‘Yes, one may live while never leaving their domicile. But then, they aren’t really alive. Exploring, adventuring, becoming a mercenary - whatever one may call it, it is the blood of the world that many are embracing now. Our reach is advanced nearly everyday, and the stars themselves are in our grasp. That is why I, and many others, continue to learn as we do.’

Continuous, ongoig, PbP game. Threaded, like this one. Ishy's guidlines state that there's one thread for setup and OOC, then another thread for the in character game.

I'm planning to start the game itself the first week of Januar 2k7.

Cool. This sounds like it will be a very interesting game.

I'll start making a character...it'll take a week or two to fine-tune him/her.

Added the Heroes books and Miniatures to the available materials.

It's starting to look alot like the rest of the CBG is not interested in this campaign. Are you willing to hop over to the WotC forumns and post your character there? I've already got at least one interested player fot each spot, so that game is guaranteed to start.

Sure. Do you have a link?

Linky!

Also, I made lengthy explanation of how to calculate your max skill points later in the thread.
