So I took a Cultural Awareness class a year or so ago, and part of it was Classical Music. While I'm not a full blown Classical Music Geek (yet) i am growing quite fond of Gershwin and sort of falling in love with Classical Piano pieces. However there was one piece of music I was looking from that class but I can't track it down. Here are the only things I remember about it.

It was from between the Romantic Period and the Modern period.

I think it was in the 1890's when it was composed?

The Composer had a unique style. It almost sounds like carnival music or something, like if you played it on a pipe organ it could be the background noise for a killer clown story.

The piece had a morbid name. It was "The Walts Macabre" or something creepy yet cool sounding.

I think it had a somewhat Dissonant sound?

Sorry that's about all I remember, but from looking up this song, I found a ton of Classical music that I really liked and I've been wanting to listen to it again for a long time.

Please and Thank you,

LoA

Yay! To celebrate, here's another well-known Saint Saens piece that is also a lot of fun.
