I think your post works most effectively when you don't put the disclaimer at the end, DeeL.  That's the problem with explaining your words: the sheer fact that you need to do it diminishes their quality.

Oh yeah, and kudos on the purple prose.

Fullmetal_Alchemist

I think people just like to say things that they don't even mean to... :blah:
Maybe he is just mad because there are to many people on the WoTC threads and posting like crazy?
If that is the reason, I don't see no reason why he should get mad over that.
"It is hard to understand why the gods do their job. It is even harder to understand why dragons are so rude. It isn't important, however. What do you care? You're still alive, no?"

Soup Nazi

I can't say for certain what he's refering to. It would probably be a bit easier to tell if the whole thread was linked instead of the singular comment he responded with. There have been very very few threads on the CBG to carry a negative tone, so I cannot imagine how he got scared off so easily.

I have a nice relationship with some of the folks over at the Myth Weavers site, and I know at least a few of them read the stuff over here, since people are running adventures in my Sulos campaign setting (with my approval of course). I suspect there are quite a few lurkers/non-members who simply come here looking for ideas, but have no intention of actually making an exhaustive campaign setting all their own. Maybe Hochiu's just got a complex.

This has become important enough to me that my wizards account is gonna stop gathering dust and allow me to travel deep into the heart of the enemy!

Or something along those lines, anyway.

Well then, there is only one way to solve such a mystery:

A game of CBG Clue!

Whodunit?

Was it Colonel Crit in the Chatbox with the Glowing Crayon?

No, he has alibi.

Professor Phoenix in the Dragon's Den with the Cabagestick?

Mwahaha....

It was the butler.
Oh, how we danced and we swallowed the night
For it was all ripe for dreaming
Oh, how we danced away all of the lights
We've always been out of our minds

No, it was Reverend Golem in the Homebrews section with his large selection of campaign matter.

Endless_Helix

Or was it Whipping Boy Helix, with the Whip, in the Arena?

But, as I'm not entirely sure what he's talking about, I might post in the thread and ask him to show precisely what ticked him off. I think he's just trolling for posts to make himself feel better, but to each his own.

He hasn't responded yet, I think he probably realizes he either spoke out of place, or too soon.  Either way, I have doubts we'll hear back from him; he's been online a couple times since then and still hasn't said anything.

Quote from: Hochiu @ WotCHeh, oh no. Don't worry about what was referred to my post there. I've been feeling rather out of sorts lately and I think the food poisoning I got the other day pretty much just caused me to go off on a pretty nasty tangent and I apologize for insinuating anything negative about it. I more or less left the forum just because I didn't have time to check so many, I'm fairly terrible at keeping up with online forums.

I wasn't trying to antagonize, just point out what I've seen, and again, I'm apologizing for it if I insulted anyone.

Umm...  What?  How is what he said not antagonistic, and he didn't recant his statements at all so...  What?

Also, Ish, :wtf: is up with your turtle?
