I actually cannot see anything but a black square, but everyone else seems to be able to so, maybe it's my screen.

Or maybe it *is* just a black square and we're all facets of an enormous AI construct bent on the single purpose of driving you slowly insane.

Anyone else need a badge? I added all the ones I could find to the wiki.

That's odd. It's a green square with a curved, paler green stripe running through it. (It happens to be the 20x20 square in the top right corner of my user avatar, with a 1 pixel border on all sides.)

What would you guys recommend for SHadowfell?  I have a few ideas, but they seem either too abstract, or too hard to do in a 22x22 space.

For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

Perhaps some kind of pool of darkness to represent a shadowfell?

Quote from: Luminous CrayonHint #1: Have you seen this graphic somewhere before?

Hint #2: Which side of the stage are you on?

Argh!  I hate it when I miss references that everyone else understands!  What do the hints mean??

I think it is my screen.  It looked okay on a different computer.  I played with my settings a little and it looks a little clearer.

Quote from: Hint #1 explainedAs I mentioned when Phoenix Knight couldn't view the icon properly, you've all seen it before. It's the top right corner of my avatar image.

Crit suggested flipping the icon vertically so that the pale stripe would be "smile-oriented," so that it would look like the curved edge of a stage as viewed from the audience (probably in the balcony seats, I'd guess, at that amount of curve.)

I suggested that the icon in its current orientation, with the pale stripe "umbrella-oriented", resembles the curved edge of a stage as viewed from on the stage. This is not any kind of brilliant thing I had pre-planned, but it fits well with the ideas I had in mind when using the word "stage" as part of the name of my setting. Also, now that Crit pointed it out, I really can't see the 22x22 icon as an abstract shape anymore-- it just looks like the edge of a stage to me.
For the Shadowfell icon, why not put an inky grey or violet blot on a pale background? Simple shape with a lot of striking color contrast, and fairly iconic of your setting (if shadowfells are representative enough to be the setting's namesake, why not the setting's icon as well?) I'm thinking, perhaps a concave sky shape at the top of the icon, and a convex shadowfell shape at the bottom, so that it looks like we're viewing the very top of a distant shadowfell on the horizon?

No kidding.  I was going to say it might be difficult to capture something that complex, but here you go and do it!  :)
