For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

Do we get "bonus points" (yes, I'm aware that it's most likely not a point system; I mean, the assumed base is d20 :p) for adding actual mechanics behind it, or are mechanics treated as just statted out flavor?

If it's the latter, I think I might have an idea or two...

Yea, I got that, which is actually why I asked; I know any system is OK, but even that assumes you're actually using a system. When I had asked that, I was proposing a gag that was entirely fluff. That said, I think I can word it so that my question was completely irrelevant.

sdragon: a couple of questions...

1. The lense makes the user's (and anyone else within five feet) clothes invisible, meaning that it reveals their form underneath?
2. Your item sees through invisibility, but not illusion, right?
3. It can see through other people's clothes, such as those who would be outside the 5-foot radius.

Well, I've put up an entry.  I think the powers and curse are pretty good, but I have to admit the name needs a bit of work.  Ideally, it should sound attractive but hint at the curse...

Yes, multiple entries will be allowed, but one person can only win one time.  Meaning, if you have three extremely awesome entries, you will still not win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize.  You will win one of those.  Updating the main thread now.

DeeL, I especially liked your entry. Very cool how you can make the curse work in such a way that one will have a hard time noticing the connection with the item. Not to mention that the curse itself is also very cool.

@ DX: Does your sword function as a Sun Blade on each first attack (that is, once every round) or only on the very first attack that is made with it?

It only functions as a Sun Blade on the very first attack the wielder makes with it.  Every attack from then on is made with the curse, unless there's a Silicone Breastplate nearby, of course. :D
