I think Harry's pretty interested in being an Auror though... and I think McGonnal has a good chance of being next headmistress.

My guess is that if they survive...

Harry will become involved at Hogwarts, probably as the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.
Hermione will become a House Elf relations person at the Ministry of Magic.
Ron will become a famous Auror.
Ginny will... I dunno...
Fred & George will continue to run their shop in Diagon Alley.
Snape will return to his position of Potions teacher.
McGonagall will become Headmistress.

I think that's everybody important who's not already dead or employed.

Sure, maybe as an aside, but I cannot possibly see that being her primary occupation.  Heck, that girl could end up running the Ministry.

I dunno, somebody's got to replace Fudge after this is all over, and Arthur's the only current main character with any real shot to.  Of course, it doesn't have to be a main character, but I suspect it will be.

I had that thought, and then I remembered that Percy's always been a **** (of varying degrees) and that while he might realize he was wrong about supporting Fudge and going against his parents, but he's still going to be a ****.  That being said, just because he'd make a terrible Minister, doesn't mean he won't become Minister.

A friend of mine has a [spoiler=theory about book 6]
It wasn't really Dumbledore, but a doppleganger of some sort that got killed. Apparently, this would take into account a few things mentioned in the books, but the only one I remember has been explained. That, by the way, would be Harry's urge to attack Dumbledore.[/spoiler]
