Ive never been to a convention eaither. What are they like, and where will it be?

I was at WizardWorld Boston in '05, but that was my only real convention. For those of you who haven't been to any conventions, they're essentially market-like events, mostly populated with merchandise booths and attendees, but (depending on the size of the event) sometimes with special guests within the industry.

I won't be able to make it to GenCon '07, partly because I just heard about it, partly because I don't have money for a con, and partly because I'm not entirely sure what Gencon is a con for. I could probably come up with a few more reasons, too, but you get the drift ;)

Ish, can I vouch for the shirt if I only do the farmer's market thing? If so, is this a standing offer, or limited time only?
