Matt Larkin (author)

Thank you khryon, I'll accept.

Technically Ishy specified you had to be rookie of the last four months, and you've been here a little longer.  Otherwise I bet you would have gotten one.

Alright guys, this thread is now closed.  We'll have a new thread up in a couple days or so for voting to begin.

Cheers!

Is the Setting Badge award for the one who designed it?  If so, Dystopia's was made by Raelifin.

Ishmayl-Retired

No, it's for the setting author.  Raelifin has already been given an award for creating 3 million badges.

Stargate525

You've got me in the wrong category. I was nominated for 'best setting', not 'best setting badge.'

Although I'll accept both if I missed the other one. :)

Near the bottom of the first page of this thread, Ravenspath nominated Poseidon for Most Prolific Poster.

Also you have "Kalos Mer by Tasothilos" where it should read "Tasothilos by Kalos Mer". Though, as far as I'm aware, KM hasn't accepted his nomination.

"Then shall the last battle be gathered on the fields of Valinor. In that day Tulkas shall strive with Melko, and on his right shall stand Fionwe and on his left Turin Turambar, son of Hurin, Conqueror of Fate; and it shall be the black sword of Turin that deals unto Melko his death and final end; and so shall the Children of Hurin and all men be avenged." - J.R.R. Tolkien, The Shaping of Middle-Earth

Ishmayl-Retired

Good point on both those parts, Turin :)  He didn't accept his nominations, I don't think he's been on the site in awhile.

The PM I sent him is still unread so I'm afraid he hasn't even been on the last couple of week. :'(

I didn't see mittenNinja's acceptence for rookie of the year
I didn't see Captain Obvious's acceptence for setting badge.

There was a nomination of "Old Folks - Salacious Angel", after the last time he poked his head in this thread. I don't know if Salacious did a blanket acceptence.

You have Nightmare under setting twice. Troll and WitchHunt are one and the same.

Yes, some of our best posters of the past year or so are not around much any more; it saddens me.

D'oh, now you guys see why I opened this thread for this? :)

As far as acceptances go, if the poster is a regular here (which both mittenNinja and Cap Obvious are), I'll leave them up.  The whole "acceptance" thing was more for those users that don't show up anymore; I didn't want to give awards to someone who wouldn't be around to show it off, you know?

Then your list pretty much matches the one I made just a few minutes ago going through the thread.
