[ic]Kevkas chases after the rest[/ic]

[ic]With a puff of shadowstuff, Duincan disappears from sight only to reappear behind the assailants, cutting off their escape. The tiny dragon furiously flaps over and stings his foe, injecting him with his natural poisons.

Kevkas moves down the alleyway as the robed man begins to speak  "It must not fall into the wrong hands! It's a powerfu-fu-fu-fu." He begins to convulse madly as his eyes roll back and foam spits forth from his mouth. Just as quickly as it came, he then calms and begins to chant in abyssal.

Markas' sickly breath pours over his foes as they cough madly for a moment and then push on.

The assailent holding the stone quickly tosses it to the other who sntaches it out of the air before making a quick gesture with his hand and a sphere of blackness envelops the area surrounding them. Using the darkness as cover, he quickly removes himself from view.

After tossing the stone to his partner, the other goblinoid turns to markas and swings his blade at the dwarf only to find the side of the building.[/ic]

Sorry about the delay of game. I've had a bit of a crazy weekend.

[ic=Duncan]Duncan steps back to the corner, unsure of where the goblinoids were going to punch out of the darkness, but wanting to give himself some time to reach when they did.[/ic]

[ic=Stris]Stris stings the goblin attacking Markas[/ic]

[ic] The dwarf standing in front of the goblinoid lets out a roar, followed closely by a cone of flame. He speaks and his rapier leaps from its sheath into his outreached hand[/ic]

[ooc]Using breath in 15ft cone again, but this time to damage not to sicken. Damage= [dice]2d6[/dice] (DC 15 reflex for half). Draws his rapier as free action (crystal of return)[/ooc]

[ic]Kevkas charges around the corner and begins casting Black Karma Curse on the nearest goblinoid.[/ic]
[ooc]umm..CL check is d20 + CL, right? if thats the case [dice]1d20 + 4[/dice][/ooc]

[ic=Thallin]Thallin lifts the robed man on to his shoulders and slowly begins to walk towards the ensuing battle.[/ic]
[ooc] strength check 13(d20) + 1 (STR Mod) = 14 total.[/ooc]

[ic]Duncan keeps back from the darkness with his sword at the ready, waiting to strike the goblinoid as soon as he exits.

Stris rears his tail to strike his foe yet again, driving his barbed tail into his leathery skin and pumping out another dose of poison.

Flames envelop the area within the darkness as Markas unleashes his breath weapon. Through the darkness you can see the goblin cringe a little as the flames kiss him.

Black energies swirl around Kevkas' hand as he unleashes his spell upon the goblin. Upon completion, the assailant strikes himself with his blade causing blood to spill across the ground as he falls to the ground.

Thallin rounds the corner carrying robed man just in time to see the darkness fade and the body lying in a small pool of blood.[/ic]

[ooc]There was only one?[/ooc]

[ooc]There were two, but the other one isn't there anymore.[/ooc]

[ic=Duncan]Realizing that the group was a goblinoid short, Duncan looks along the walls for windows or other possible escape routes, shouting to the rest of the party to "Split up and make sure it doesn't get away!"[/ic]

[ic=Stris]"I'm on it boss!" Stris replies as he shoots upwards into the air, looking for an appropriately-sized figure.[/ic]

[ic Kevkas]Realizing that the stone may have magical properties, Kevkas begins casts Detect Magic[/ic]
